A brand new day had begun and Arisha's energy was revived. A huge part of her was desiring hard to get to school but a bit of her was still not in a mood. It was a Saturday, and there was an additional working day at school. Of course, not everyone was in a mindset, to go to school and Arisha was one of them. But today, was something different, Arisha can drag herself to school just for the sake of one person; but what if he doesn't come? She's eager of what new games he throws upon her.

It was 6:30 am and she sat on her pink couch with 'J' in her hands and a smile on her pretty face. Having done with a prolonged discussion with her journal, Arisha ultimately made up her mind to move to school. She snap-shut her diary and jumped into the tiny uniform, threw her bag on her shoulders, and headed towards the kitchen. Her mom was stirring something in a pan, which was her favorite red pan and she used it occasionally, only for preparing dishes for special functions. Her dad was supposed to return back home that day, so maybe...but Arisha couldn't really recall any momentous day. Her pool of thoughts was disturbed by her mom's chirpy morning voice, which usually is chirpy every morning.

" Honey, when did you decide...."

" Mom it's important, and I need to discuss my position in the project team. What do we have for breakfast?" Her smile kept extending with every word and her eyes were inflating as her nose perceived the sweet aroma of fruit custard. She outstretched her arms to grab a spoonful of her favorite dish when her mom slapped her hands off.

"That's for dinner" She retorted and moved the vessel away from Arisha's reach.

" Anything special?" She asked, and her smile was still plastered but brows creased." What if I don't have dinner?"

" Not having dinner is your preference, by the way, that's not happening" She ignored her question relating to the special meal. Her mom did not entertain any kind of diet and skipped meals. She was a jolly woman, though chubby but pretty. Arisha let go of the matter and chose to have bread and cheese since her mom was not gladdened by her taking the feisty custard. Arisha left the kitchen with a plate that contained two toasts and some cheese between them in her hands. As she walked towards the hallway, her ears perceived hard music from the living room and her curiosity took her that way.

"Oh, my sister, what? Are you partying early in the morning...that too...alone" All of these words left Arisha's mouth hastily. She couldn't believe her eye,  Vidisha was in the living room on a couch in front of the huge-looking mirror, twerking.

" Your reaction was a bit too much" and Arisha gave her an 'I-do-know' look before hurrying out of her house. She did not want to waste any more time as she had to catch her bus which was supposed to arrive at 7:00 am.

She walked quietly by the footpath, bypassing infrequent pebbles and each of her steps was light. She did not make any noise with her shoes. Her heart was pounding and she limply held the right strip of her bag pack. Her mind was wandering someplace in Tushant's eyes, she could clearly picture his smile and any reason which prevented her from being afraid of his rude demeanor was rejected. Her feet took her towards the bus stop at a slow pace and now she could hear the bus roar from her behind. She turned back and saw her yellow school bus arriving, it was honking and finally came to a stop to pick up Arisha. The bus stop was still a few meters away so a better way to save time. She got onto her bus and found it to be almost empty. No teacher and most of the students were the freshers, only half a handful of seniors. Thankfully, the reason Arisha had come was satisfied. Her face lit up to see him and so did his, but neither of them took notice of each other's joy. Aditi was absent and the seat behind Tushant was empty. Arisha preferred to take the empty seat and made herself comfortable near the window. Tushant was not stunned but hurt as she took a seat behind him. However, he couldn't show. He wished her to sit beside him. Next, he wished her to start a conversation but didn't do it himself. After all, he doesn't talk to junior girls. Arisha was wishing the same, but she knew it wouldn't happen at any cost. Her hands were raised up unintentionally and she almost patted his shoulder when she prevented such an awkward move. Her body stiffened as she saw him turn his head.
