(Katsuki's POV)
~Winter break after school let's out~
"ONE MORE TIME! COME AT ME, CANDLES!" I grinned, sparking a few small explosions. She drew the fire from them towards herself, bringing them together in a ball of fire.
"You're gonna put out my candles, Katsuki." She whined.
"Oh, come on, Dumbass. You're stupid candle will be fine. And you won't always have a candle during battle." I frowned at her.
"Uuuh, says who?" She pulled a candle out of thin air, lit it, and tossed it at me. I blew it up, and she rolled her eyes. "Fine." She pushed the ball of fire at me, and I dodged. The amount of scorch marks in our training room was insane.
We trained with our quirks for hours, and the next day, I asked her if we could just to physical training. Candles shrugged and started stretching.
We were both flexible people, but sometimes she went past what I expected. Especially since she rarely ever joined me for strength training.
"Okay, so... What exactly should we do?" She asked while doing the splits. I winced when I looked at her.
"Spar without quirks, typical strength training." I shrugged.
"Mmmmneh." She said."What if.... And here me out here, I force you to dance with me because you're warm."
"No way in hell." I replied. Though seeing just how much I could toss her around in the name of dancing was kind of interesting.
She laughed, pressing up into a backbend and then a hand stand. "You're funny. Now my head is pulsing so I'm gonna go get some water."
She hopped up and brushed some hair back. I watched her, huffing. "Show off. You don't have to prove how flexible you are to me, I once watched you hang off your friend's bunk bed to grab something stuck under the boards holding up the top bunk, then slowly lower yourself down doing an almost cartwheel because you were about to fall off. I was surprised your short arms could reach."
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that"
~Day of the exam~
"Oi, Candles. Wake your dumb ass up." Katsuki pushed open my door. I was already awake the second I heard the handle move. I groaned at him, rubbing my eyes.
"Why the door? I can never go back to sleep once you open the door." I whined.
"We've got a fucking exam today, if you forgot! Get dressed and meet me downstairs, you can help me make breakfast. Because I'm sure as hell not making it for you." He said, throwing open my blinds, to rub a little salt in the wound. I screeched, the sunlight much more blinding than the soft light of my candles.
"You asshole! Get out!" I stood up, shoving him out the door. It was during these situations he felt like an annoying brother. That or a doting lover with... issues. It was weird to think of him as either.
I sighed and got dressed, a black form-fitting tank top and black sweatpants. They were soft and flexible, yet also form fitting, as all feminine cut things tended to be. And they made my ass look good.
I grabbed a faded f/c jacket and a grey scarf, placed them on my bed, and ran downstairs. "What's on the menu, Boss?" I asked.
"Never call me that again, and pancakes."
"But you don't like-"
"Shut it and enjoy the fucking pancakes! I'll make em spicy for me and not use that sugar shit you like. There."
"Aw, Katsuki's being niiiiccceeee~"
"My son's being what?" Mitsuki asked, rubbing her eyes.
"We're having pancakes for breakfast even though he doesn't like them! He's so sweet~" I latched onto Katsuki, playing a lovesick fan of his. He hated this game, but I adored pissing him off.
