" Oh my god. Were going to be parents" i whisper.
Pat and I were trying for a baby for a while and had no luck, but it finally happened. Were gonna have a baby! Its not like were not ready, were married and have a home together. I hope he's as happy as i am.
I got out of the bathroom and went to wait for Pat to get home from practice, which he should be home pretty soon.
I start to get nervous, what if he changed his mind about the baby ? What if he leaves me ? With all these thoughts running threw my brain, i didn't hear the front door open and Pat walking in. " Hey, Hun" my husband said coming over and giving me a kiss.
" Patrice i need to tell you something." i said looking down, suddenly getting nervous again. " What's up Y/n? what's going on? " he said worried. " we've been trying for a baby for a while now..." i said tearing up. " Yes we are. Y/n please tell me whats happening !" he pleaded.
" I'm Pregnant. We're going to be parents." i said quickly.
" Wait... I'M GOING TO BE A DAD?! " he said jumping up smiling. " And I'm going to be a mom " i said smiling. He pulled me into a hug and we stayed there for i while until we called our parents to share the news.
''I thought you would have left me'' i said to Pat. " I would'nt dream of ever leaving you, you re me wife ya know" he smiled.
