Artemis's P.O.V

As soon as we land, we take the Rover towards Koboi's base. I bypass the security and we burst into the torture chamber. "Ah, so the captive comes to save the captor, how ironic. Don't you appreciate irony Artemis?" she directs the question to Luna who is still bleeding profusely. I am at first confused, before realizing that she must have pretended to me to protect me. I decide to go along with it. "What have you done to him? Get away from him!" I say in a slightly higher pitched Scottish accent, "Only if you come here. Now." I have no choice but to walk towards Opal. She pulls the knife out from her arm. Only now do I see how deep the cuts are. They must be close to her bones and blood is flowing like a waterfall. Now is definitely not the time for poetry. She advances towards me, her eyes and limbs twitching madly, she is insane. She stops in front of me when she is a hair's width from me. She raises the knife, preparing to kill me.

Luna's P.O.V

I see red. There is no other way to describe it. Get away from him you BITCH. With strength I didn't know I had, I wrench my arm away from the robot chair and launch into a flying kick, hitting Opal on the side of her waist. I hear a nasty crack as her head hits the floor. Artemis stands there in shock, "Are you okay? Did she hurt you?" I ask Artemis as I shake him from his state of shock, "I'm fine, but what about you? Are you okay? Stupid question, I'll call a friend to heal you." He replies and hugs me. I'm not really a hugging person, but as I wrap my arms around him, doesn't feel at all awkward. It feels right. "Is your friend another fairy?" I ask him, "Yes, and one of my best friends." He reassures me, "Should I do anything?" I ask, "No. You can rest now." He hugs me again, this one lasts a bit longer. My heart feels almost ready to burst. I sit with my back against the wall as Artemis tells someone called 'Foaly' to send 'Holly' over here to heal me. A few minutes later, an auburn haired, pointy eared fairy flies into the room.

Artemis's P.O.V

Holly arrives in record time. She takes one look at Luna and says, "You're lucky to be alive, Luna." Holly works her magic (literally) on Luna. "Sorry, but you'll have those scars forever, they're too deep for me." Holly apologises to Luna, who nods and replies, "It's okay."

A/N If you're wondering why I made Opal so easy to defeat, it's because I don't want people to get bored with all the battle stuff and quickly get to the cuteness! Sorry if you live for the action but... yeah. And I am sorry for the short chapter.
