Chapter 19 Confession to Levi

Your POV

~Time skip to a few months~

Today was the day, it was our cadet graduation. Today was also the day where I would confess my feelings to Levi, I do have feelings for Sam but... My feelings for Levi were getting stronger each day.

I made my way to breakfast, sitting by Auruo and Petra.

"Tch brat, who said you can sit by me??" Auruo says annoyingly, trying to be like Levi. I rolled my eyes and Petra palms her face.

"Unless you like me " Auruo smirks, I immediately stand up and sit on the other side of Petra. Erd and Gunter laughs at my rejection of Auruo, Auruo eats his food angrily.

I walk back to my room, as I walk in I see a letter on my bed. I tore it open :

Dear F/n

Please meet me behind the building where the graduation party will take place at midnight.

From Levi

My eyes widened.

'W-Why does he want me to come?!? Am I in trouble?!? Wait no.... That's the perfect place where I can confess to him' I thought and folded the letter in my pocket. I skip out the door, bumping into Sam.

"Sorry Sam" I said.

"Someone's in a happy mood" Sam smirks.

"Today is the day of the graduation" I smiled

"Oh yea.... F/n at the graduation party I want to tell you something" He looks away.

"You can tell me now" I smiled. Sam shakes his head

"I want to tell you later tonight" Sam gives me a kiss in the forehead, Leaving me flustered. I watched him as he walked away.

'I'm sorry Sam, I think I love Levi' I mentally apologized

~ TIME SKIP TO GRADUATION PARTY~

Petra nudges me, she was the only one I had told about the letter.

"Don't forget the time" Petra whispers, I nod my head and looked at the clock. It was 11:36, I couldn't wait but I was so nerve racking the whole day.

"Petra Ral, Auruo Bozado, Erd Jinn and Gunter Schultz. The Corporal would like to see you all" A voice says loudly.

Auruo is twiddling his fingers, Erd looks like he's going into a nervous breakdown. I push all of them towards Levi, then left before he started talking to them. 11:55 almost to midnight, I couldn't keep still. Thoughts ran to my head.

'What if he doesn't like me, What if I say the wrong things!!??' I thought.

Petra and the group came back. Surprisingly they were laughing and high giving each other after the talk with Levi.

Petra looks at me with a concerned look, I didn't notice. I was still too deep in my thoughts.

'What will happen?!'

After a couple of minutes I finally heard Petra repeatedly my name.

"F/n?!" She shouts.

I shook my head, trying shake the ideas from my head.

"Sorry, I was thinking" I replied.

"Are you alright, you look pale" Petra says.

"I'm alright I'm just.... Nervous" I whispered so the others couldn't hear.

"It's alright F/n, I'll be here for you" Petra grabs my hand.

"Thank you. And why are you guys happy? It's not bad, just wondering" I asked.

"Corporal wants us to be on his squad!!" Petra says happily.

"Oh my gosh I'm so happy for you" I hugged her tightly.

"I wish you can join us" Petra sighs.

Of course Petra didn't know that I was already in Levi's squad. Nobody did except the scout leaders.

"Shoot! F/n you're late" Petra yells.

I look at the time it's 12:11.

"Shit, time goes fast" I said then ran outside the building and walked quietly to the back. There I saw Levi standing, he was looking at the pale moon.

He's so beautiful, his black locks shined from the moonlight as the wind gently blows it away from his face. He turns to me but his eyes are looking something else.

"Is it really you?" His stoic expression was gone and a soft sad expression was placed. I was about step up but a person covered in a black hood walked quickly into the light.

Levi attention was fully on the person, that he didn't realize I was watching from the shadows.

"Yes. It's me" A voice like silk came out, its was so beautiful that I could listen to the voice all day.

The person took off the hood, It was a women with flawless crystal skin, her hair was a beautiful brown, her makeup was perfect and her eyes were green. It look like I was going to get sucked in by them. It look like Levi was already possessed, they stare at each other.

"I-I thought you were kidnap, Marlene" Levi stuttered. I stare at him, Levi would never stutter. Never.

"I escaped, my dear" Marlene hugs Levi, Levi returns the hug holding her tightly. My chest begins to feel heavy.

"I don't want to let you go ever again.........Marlene, I love you" Levi lifts her chin and kisses her passionately. That's when my heart broke, warm tears came pouring down.

I wanted to look away but I kept watching, hoping this was a dream.

'I told you so' I thought.

The kiss finally ends and they return back into their hug, Levi opens his eyes, realizing there was another presence with them. Me . I couldn't take it anymore, I ran as quick as my legs would carry.

"F/n!!" I hear Levi's voice behind me but I didn't dare to stop and He didn't follow me either.

I didn't know where I was running, I stopped running at a dark alley. My legs were burning with tiredness but my heart was too broken to care.

I began walking back to headquarters through the meadow, it wasn't too far or too close. More and more tears streamed down, my mind replayed the scene over and over.

"I don't want to let you go ever again.........Marlene, I love you"

Those words broke more pieces of my heart. Without knowing it, I trip over a hole in the ground.

My mouth was filled with dirt, I tried getting up but my legs were exhausted. I laid on the cold ground and stared at the stars, it took my mind off for a bit. But Levi would always wander back into my mind.

I broke down once again into cries. This heartbreak felt somewhat familiar. That's when my head felt like being torn apart.

"AHHHH" I screamed, my own scream gave me shivers. I covered my head with my hands, trying to rip off the pains of my head splitting.

"AHHHHH" I screamed once again, More and more pictures filled my head, bloody, dead bodies, and the Strange man once again.

It was happening again like at the infirmary. The difference was that Levi wasn't here to stop the horrid pictures flooding to my head.
