I got back from the talk with Tony and thought about my decision. I didn't know if I made the right choice or not.
I would be right across from what could be a H.Y.D.R.A base, I had no immediate protection and little defence knowledge.
I'll be fine. Hopefully.
I started packing up my things and got all the things Tony said I would need. He said I would have to go undercover as a girl named Phoebe Smith. just in case.
I was just finishing packing up when someone knocked on my door. I hid my suitcases in my wardrobe quickly before I said they could come thinking it would be Wanda or Nat, but it indeed wasn't.
Surprise, surprise, it was Bucky standing in the doorway.
"Hey"
"Oh, it's just you. Would you mind stepping outside and shutting the door." Bucky laughed at the response which made me angrier than I was that all of a sudden he popped up like nothing happened between us.
"What do you want" I said angrily crossing my arms.
"Steve said you're leaving tomorrow"
"Yeah and, still doesn't explain why you're here"
"I wanted to see if he was telling the truth"
"Well he is so you can leave now." I said waving my hands at him.
"Wow, what got you so moody, PMS?"
now that got me angry. Not only is he questioning me being moody but is asking if it is PMS.
"Oh my- I can't believe you. Have you just forgotten what happened between us? You haven't even spoken to me let alone looked at me since I slept with you and you're asking me why I'm moody. And I'm not even moody, I'm angry. Fucking angry at you for using me just for your own pleasure! And then you just waltz in all happy like nothing ever happened?!"
That's when his smile dropped and he started to look angry.
"Why do you care so much it was just one night?"
"'Just one night' , what do you mean 'just one night'? And why do I care?! Do you even know what having sex with someone and leaving them does to a person. That lowered my self esteem and confidence so so much. And maybe I cared because I actually like you! Well liked you. I don't even know why I liked someone who- who is you."
"What. You like me?"
"Didn't you hear me, I said I LIKED you. There is no way in hell I like you now."
"Oh" is all he said and walked out and shut the door. That was weird but I don't care.
