It was the middle of the night and Alpha was woken up abruptly. She heard something break. At first she thought it was just from her dream. She tries to shrug it off but noticed a glint. Upon investigating, she finds a shard of glass at her nightstand. Baffled, she picks up the shard and inspects it. Another shard catches her eye. "What in Roku's domain...?" She mutters. As she looked over she saw a trail of glass shards leading to her mirror. Jars that once kept her office tidy and organized were now as shattered as they were scattered. The shards led the hunter to her mirror. There she saw two hands drawn; one that appeared to be made of flames and one of shadows. She heaved a sigh and picked up a washcloth. She tried to scrub it off but nothing happened. Even after using cleaning agents the hands remained. It was at this moment she realized that something was not right.
She tries to shrug it off and go back to bed. It could be possible that someone took a prank on her too far. She returns to her bed to try to go back to sleep, only to be greeted with a skull at her nightstand. Alarmed, she leaped back, but proceeded to inspect the skull. Upon close observations she saw a marking. Once again, this might just be a prank. Unamused at the prospect, she set the skull down and went back to sleep.
Hours later, the morning sun started shining. The rays of sunlight struck the maverick hunter's face, prompting her to wake up. Recalling what happened last night, she took a quick glance around her room. Nothing out of the ordinary was to be seen. Feeling skeptical, she got out of bed and left her bedroom. She looked at her windows of the living space but nothing unusual was there. She was about to just shrug it off and prepare herself some tea but something on her tea set caught her eye. There was a small cage with a skeleton model inside. Alpha shouts out of surprise and horror and nearly knocks herself into a bookshelf. Luckily for her only a book fell off. She composed herself and inspected the skeleton. Upon counting the bones, she noticed some of the bones were blue and there were enough to call it a complete skeleton. She remained confused. "What does this all mean..?" Hands locked in a fight? A skull on her nightstand? Caged bones near her tea? She came to the conclusion that perhaps this was not an innocent prank. She was being threatened. "The man in my nightmares... He's threatening me... But how..? How did he leave all these things?" Alpha had a feeling that she was about to be challenged in a fight, but she knew in her heart that she was not ready. Before she could process any further thoughts she felt her arm buzz. She checks it: looks like an officer's meeting was about to happen. Seemed as if she'll have to go.
