BLACK HISTORY MONTH,

PROMPTS,
For this holiday, we have included one prompt, but have decided to spice it up a bit by adding a bonus prompt along with it! Everyone who completes the bonus prompt will immediately receive two extra Yule Tokens, regardless of whether they score a position or not. You may choose to do only the original one, or both. You may not, however, only complete the bonus prompt. That said, both prompts will have their separate winners. Please remember to abide by the rules/requirements/restrictions and have fun!
Prompt: Letter from the Past
Write a letter from the point of view of a Black person in America, back when slavery was a normalized motif. They can be any age, from a young child coming to learn about how their race is treated to a full grown adult harboring resentment for the world. Describe how they perceive everything that is happening around them, whether in a good or bad way.
Bonus Prompt: Letter from the Present
Everyone who completes this bonus portion will immediately receive two extra Yule Tokens, regardless of whether they score a position or not.
Assume one of the descendants of the person who wrote the letter has found it. Your job is to write a reply to the initial letter from the descendant. In this letter, the descendant must explain how a lot has changed since then, and how they perceive the ongoing battle for equal rights as well as acknowledging all the beneficial aspects that have come with time.
Requirements/Restrictions:
━ (1)❝ Length does not play a part in victory, however, there must be at least 300 words in the letter ❞
━ (2)❝ We must eventually find out the characters' names at the end of the letter, when they sign off ❞
