"i really like her" he said as he squished and pet his cat that was laying on his chest and drifted off to sleep.

"i really like him" you said as you covered your face and scrunched your stuffed animal into your face while hugging it and falling asleep finally.

the next day i woke up to my alarm and got ready. I wore some wore some medium blue mom jeans with a brown long sleeve vintage shirt and some jewelry.
When i went to go eat breakfast i didn't see kazu in the living room nor was he in his room. My guess was that he spent the night either with his gang or passed out in some bar, either way atleast the house wasn't a mess this time

when i finally got everything i needed and was about to head out i realized something—i never asked baji for his number when i honestly should have, now i'll  be walking by myself to school because he's probably already half way there walking. i grabbed the door handle and headed outside my apartment. i looked down because some part of me was a tad bit sad that i would be walking alone all quiet and see baji until i get to school.

i turned around and locked the door when i finally shifted my body to make it towards the elevator i saw a tall figure only a few feet away
it was him

he was waiting for me all this time outside my apartment

he was leaning against the wall with one of his legs curved also leaning (i hope you know which pose i'm talking about)
his head was facing up staring at the ceiling until he turned his head my way and smiled brightly like he was happy to see me.

"y/n !!!" he said waving high towards me
"baji ! ... thanks for waving if you didn't i totally would of never saw you" i said sarcastically
"really? i never knew you were that blind" he said scratching the back of his neck looking concerned
"i was being sarcastic" i said slapping his shoulder
"i don't knowww...kinda seems like you were being for reals" he said teasing
"anyways you don't know how glad i am that you came out of your apartment" he said
"why is that?" i asked

"well i didn't ask you yesterday if you wanted to walk with me today SO i got up EARLY so i could finish EARLY and come to your apartment and meet up with you. But i was almost thinking you had already left the house and were on your way while i would of been standing outside like an idiot waiting for no one to come out. I ended up forgetting to do my hair again though 😡 . I had it down when i was waiting for you but i found a hair tie in my wrist and just tied it up all messy"

"i wonder what you look like with your hair down" i told him
"i usually only let it down on special occasions. who knows maybe you'll see it sometime"
"maybe so then" i replied

we made our way to school and on the way there we were talking about music. We were talking about the different kinds of music we like and genres. Baji was telling me all his favorite bands and artists

(tbh i'm not sure what baji would listen to 🤔 if you have an answer that could seem cannon comment it. for some reason i feel like he'd be the type of person to love the Beatles and get bullied for it😭)

he also openly admitted that he once in a while listens to katy perry and all her old songs which i giggled at.
(IMPORTANT DETAIL: remember this detail of him ^^ you will see why in the future :o ! ok thanks)

by the time we made it to school there was only four minutes left until class so we decided to make our way to class together. we went up the stairs into the second floor; the halls were almost completely empty as mostly everyone was in their classes now, i was walking next to baji but slightly in-front of him , he was on the left side and i was on the right side. we were almost reaching our classroom when suddenly before i could take another step baji pushed out his left arm for it to reach the wall and put almost his complete body in-front of me

"hey before we go in, if you theres ever a time you don't want to be alone at lunch or want to hang with us feel welcomed to okay y/n?" he said
i was surprised but in awe of him being so generous
"thank you baji, i will sometime but today i'm gonna read during lunch since i'm almost done with my book" i reassured him
"okay then, tell me all about it later though" he said with a calm smile on his face
he removed his hand from the wall and we made our way to class

it was now lunch time, i grabbed my book and some money and quickly headed out the classroom so i could get to the vending machines quickly before a long line could form.
after i got my food i went to the same spot as i was yesterday. i was eating my food peacefully trying to finish it so i could start reading soon.

i was shoving a hand full of gummies in my mouth making my cheeks all fat when i felt a figure standing behind me
'i was looking for you' they said
'who are you?..'
