So here I was sitting in the airport, waiting for this man who left me 15 years ago. A man I haven't spoken to in 15 years, a man who I called my father. As I was trying to picture how my father would look like, I began to feel a presence behind me, my thoughts were interrupted as I turned my head slightly to the right , my eyes landed on a man, he was looking at me with a big smile plastered on his face. He was over 6 foot tall, a few brown hair were missing on top of his forehead. I could spot a few gray hair here and there, but dressed nicely, he look very handsome for his age. To his right stood a copy of him, looking much younger I would say he was around my age, 17 more precisely. He had the same smile plastered on his face, I supposed he was the son of this man.

"Emma?"

I returned to reality once my name was spoken, turning to the left it didn't take long for me to realise those words were spoken from the mouth of this man.

"Dad?"

Without thinking I jumped in my fathers opened arms. Wrapping my arms tightly around him I took in his familiar sent. It felt so good to be in his arm, I felt safe. I can't even remember the last time I hugged someone, but right now nothing mattered, the past was the past. I felt a tear roll down my cheek, but this tear wasn't like all the other ones from these past years. This tear was from happiness, something I haven't experienced in a very long time. He slowly released his tight grip around me and looked at me in the eyes.

"Oh Emma, you don't know how happy I am to see you! Look at you all grown up, you look beautiful!"

That was it, I couldn't take it. These past few years I haven't realised how much I missed my father, and here I was standing in front of him. He looked so happy to see me, it's almost as if he actually cared about me, maybe even loved me. More Tears began to fall from my eyes, I tried to stop them but I just couldn't.

"Oh don't cry Emma! I promise everything is going to be ok from now on. I wont let you go, I promise."

"Im just so happy to..."

My words were cut short by my sobs. I felt arms wrap tightly around me, I knew instantly they were my fathers. We stayed like this a couple minutes before my sobs slowly came to a stop. I pulled back from my fathers tight grip and took a glance and the young man standing beside him. I supposed he was my twin brother. He looked at me from head to toe before connecting his concerned eyes with mine.

"Its so nice to finally meet you Emma! I've been waiting  so long for this day to come!"

"Its nice to meet you ... Umm"

Shocked covered my face as I realised I did not know my brothers name. How could I possibly not know my very own brothers name! Its true that my mother never talked to me about my brother, but still! I felt like a horrible sister! My brother smiled at me and quickly answered before I could say anything else.

"Jason"

"I'm so sorry Jason! Its just my mom never talked, even mentioned anything about you guys and ..."

"Emma it's ok! The police told us everything about mom, how she treated you and about her disorder causing financial problems. Don't be sorry about anything."

My dad took a step towards us, and coughed. Our attention turned to him, he opened his mouth and spoke.

"I don't mean to interrupt or anything, but it's getting late and I suppose Emma is tired from her trip, we can talk tomorrow morning."
