A Letter From My Disease

The Reality

Sarah awoke early in the morning, but what remained a mystery to her was the diary, which was not as it should have been. She had the impression that someone had just entered her room and scribbled this stuff down. Sarah went to the restroom and examined herself in the mirror to see if anything had changed within her. But, for the time being, nothing has changed. Sarah felt like she was thinking a lot, and then she realized she was drunk.

Sarah wanted to work and earn money for herself and her mother after graduating from high school. Sarah needs to find a job where she can fit in, but she knows nothing about anything in California. She went to her mother and asked her to look for work for her. Sarah's mother refuses because she believes Sarah is too young for this. *Even as adults, we are still children in the eyes of our parents. And, as she did every time, Sarah made her remember her current age.

Sarah's mother would never want to be separated from her daughter. Her mother had a friend named Luna Garcia who lived in another city called Phoneix. She was her primary school best friend who lives and works alone in her shop. She then remembered her and Mrs Luna's phone conversation from the previous year. Mrs Luna wanted Mrs Charlotte and her daughter to be a part of her family when Sarah graduated from high school. She then told Sarah that she would be looking for work for her soon.

Sarah smiled and made the quickest breakfast she could in her kitchen. Sarah is a skilled cook. She went to her room, turned on the television, and began watching her favourite show. She had fallen asleep by that point. Then she realized she was having the same dream she had the night before. It was all white. Sarah wanted to wake up but couldn't. She looked everywhere to figure out what was going on with her at the time. She could only see the dairy, a table, and a pen. She sat at the table and turned the pages, but the first thing she noticed was "Finding Everything white." But she remembered what she wrote in the dream wasn't what she saw in reality. She turn the pages and wrote, "It's strange, that is happening?".  She wanted to wake up to normal but can't. Sarah shouted harder and harder.

 Finally, she woke up and found her on her table with a diary. She looked at her diary and the same thing just had happened. The page said "Again, It's the same dream". she hear her mom footstep's sound to her room. Sarah quickly closed her diary and went to bed. As her mom entered her room, she asked Sarah if everything is ok. But Sarah didn't tell her the truth, she said she just fell asleep and had a scary dream. Her mom finds it weird cause Sarah never used to sleep in the daytime. She then went out of her room.

Sarah feels like someone is in her room and doing this stuff. She searched every corner of her room but finds no one else. She wanted to figure out what the heck is happening with her. She feels like something weird. Sarah was out of her mind. She was not the person anymore she was supposed to be. She was totally scared of this. 

Sarah had some money she was collecting from the last year. She went to the market and buy a CCTV, camera for herself. She wanted to know the thing that has been happening with her. She went home and her mom got her in the front door. She asked what was that she just bought but Sarah said it was her school's project thing. But her mom feel like something is wrong cause her school was already over. Her mom never wanted to interrupt Sarah cause she don't want her daughter to give pressure on her freedom. She ignored that case as if nothing was going wrong. 

Sarah went to her room and did everything that she needs to. She installed all the required stuff in her room and start to record everything on her laptop. She was waiting for the night. 

Sarah always used to have dinner slowly and with having a good conversation with her mom. But this time, Sarah was eating her stuff like how starved people eat after a week. Mrs Charlotte finds something messed with her daughter's life. 

Sarah went to her room and waited for the time to fall asleep. She tried to sleep but can't. She tried the second time and still can't. For the third time and fourth time, she cannot sleep like she used to. She feels like something inside her is changed. She looked at the clock and it was 12 o'clock at the midnight. But like every day, her normal sleep time was at 11. Sarah feel like something is wrong. She can't do anything. Neither she could share these all things with her mom nor her friends. Then, she waited and waited, to fall asleep. By every time, the second's stick on the clock that she was staring at moved, she was waiting to sleep. Then she finally fall asleep. It was the same dream, that she saw last time. She could see the table, diary and a pen with the complete white surroundings. She looked at the pages, it was the same as how it was when she dreamed. At the same time, she wrote like "Now I am going to figure out the things that are happening". 

She wakes up to reality. She looked at the diary she had in her hands and the page said: "Mercy, Please stop". The very first thing that came to her mind was the Cam Record of her room through that CCTV footage.

She opened the video and made it to the time she slept. She found herself sleeping walking and taking the diary out from her cupboard. That was completely scary cause she had never been sleepwalking. Then she zoomed in to the diary and she could see that it wasn't what she was writing in the dream.

She lost hope. She was scared and hopeless about the stuff that has been going on. She then tried to sleep and decided to meet a doctor the next day.
