We’ve been traveling to a secret place near Amazon for hours now.
But I know we’re close, I can feel that we’re close. And that’s the first time in very long time that he’s close.
Finally I can see a village and feel a lot of people around but something is off. As we look around this small place in the middle of the woods, we, well I realize that he’s controlling these people.
Can’t say I’m surprised, but everyone else is.
“Where is he? Where is Druig?” Kingo asked a little girl. The girl’s eyes turn gold when she says
“I am here” and that’s when a door opened from what I think is a main hall or some weird big house.
“I missed you all, please make yourself feel at home!” he said as he walked out, he’s looking at me now. I can feel his stare, but I can’t dare to make eye contact with him now.
“We need to talk” says Sersi. In few moments everyone is sited inside the main hall now, as Sersi is trying to explain what’s happening, but somehow he doesn’t look so surprised.
He probably read our minds before we even stepped into his weird cult-village.
“That’s a lot of bad information you’ve told me Sersi, and I don’t think I can control a Celestial’s mind”.
I’m not really focused on their conversation, as I heard this plan many times. Instead I’m playing with my hair, counting the windows and enjoying the beauty that’s behind them.
Basically I’m doing everything, thinking about everything except him, and he knows that now.
Finally I get up and leave the room while not looking at anyone. I’m sure they would understand though. I’m forced to be in the same room as my ex and I have to work with him? This is definitely not how I planned to spent my weekend.
“Did you have better plans for your weekend then?” he says from behind my back
“Yes actually, I had plans to go to this big party with my friends” I lied as I turned around I caught his gaze.
“Really? You had better plans then saving the world. Wow what will the humans say?” he sarcastically replied not breaking our eye contact.
I must admit, his eyes are bluer than I remember.
But everything else is the same; he still has that stupid smirk on his face.
He still feels the same.
I remember every detail of his face too well and I’m sure what he’s going to say next.
“Yes, you know. I wanted to say that you’ve changed your hair since the second I saw you”
“It looks beautiful like always” he says
Ugh he’s still charming but I can’t forget why I’m here.
“We need your help, you know” –“Are you going to help, I know humans aren’t you favorite” I say as I look down. I can’t face him anymore, he’s making this way too hard.
-“Well I always preferred dogs over humans, but it seems like I don’t have a choice”
“You don’t” is all I say as I go towards Sersi. I haven’t properly talked to her since we got her.
I want to ask about Dane’s party, something she was looking forward last week. I guess she understands how I feel right now, considering we both reunited with our exes for the same reason.
But she’s moved on from Ikaris, she has for a long time now. That’s way she told me she’s ready to move in with Dane I thought.
“Hey, how was your talk” she says while pointing at him with her eyes.
“We didn’t really talk, but he did say that he’s going to help”
“Well I also told you that your hair looks nice”. How did he get here so fast? As I was ready to say something in return, we all heard them.
