"Everything happened really fast"
I said as everyone was looking at me and Thena. She was quietly sobbing over Gilgamesh.
I remember her pain. I remember Gilgamesh's pain as he took his last breath. I remember Thana's scream and Sersi's gasp and everyone's stare. I kept thinking to myself, retelling what happened as I felt those emotions over and over again.
"Is she okay? She hasn't moved at all. Someone should talk to her, before her emotions explode again" said Kingo with a worried expression.
"She's in control with her emotions now, that won't happen again. And I'll talk to her, but we should let her rest for a bit." replied Sersi
"I don't think you saw her back there, at the field! She used her emotions as a weapon against the deviants. She almost killed one, before she almost killed us." Kingo quietly said as he was looking around the table.
"Can't we have just one normal family dinner?
And someone please go get y/n ,she's been standing over there for hours!" yelled Sprite
As Sersi was about to leave the small dining room, Druig said "I will go to talk to her, Sersi you can check on Thena"

I was still standing there, watching the sun leave the horizon. It was beautiful really, the whole village was. I could see myself living here, taking care of the gardens, helping these people and live a simple life, to live in peace. But it's too late now, this is basically the en- I was about to finish my thought as he walked beside me and started talking:
" It is never too late, you know.
After this is all over you can always visit me here. This place is really beautiful especially in the summer "
- "What are you doing?" is all I can say. I was really enjoying the quiet and the nature and-
" I am simply making conversation with an old friend " he replied
- "Are you calling me old? You should never say stuff like that to a woman, and I'm certainly not your friend"
" If we are not friends, then what are we? "
- "We're coworkers, or teammates, but not friends. Because friends don't leave without saying goodbye, that's what cowards do."
" So you are still mad about that, huh? " I looked at him angrily as he continued:
" I am sorry about not saying goodbye, but I am not sorry for leaving. I know I did the right thing. But I will admit that I have missed you. "
- "I'm not angry anymore, but I was and for a very long time. We don't have to talk about the past, we have to focus on the future, if we have one ..."
" You really are not going to say that you missed me too? Well that is not fair. " He replied with a small smirk on his face

We don't have time for jokes and I'm quite tired, will you excuse me?"
" You are tired because you used all of your power at once. I always told you not to do that, you could have gotten badly hurt. Or did you forget what happened in Babylon? "
- "Of course I didn't forget, but I'm alright as you can see. I have control over my powers now."
" Are you sure about that? Because the last time you felt everyone's emotions at the same time, during battle you did not wake up for two days. I do not think you understand how that felt. You scared me then and you know I am not scared of anything. "
- "Well sorry about that but I really am fine now and I really want to go- I stopped talking as everything started to get blurry. I can't see anything now and I feel like I'm floating, this is not so bad - I thought.
