You had a crush on of the famous guys on campus until he started bullying you which turned you off. Having pretty looks and a clever mind made you a target for almost all sorts of bullying. Envious girls and guys who wanted to get your attention. Due to that constant harassment from almost everyone, your self-esteem sunk, making you aloof from almost everyone, except one.

You made a friend in one of your classes, he is also bullied like you but not because of her looks but due to his nerdiness. Ever since then, you two hanged out, supporting each other when the whole campus felt as if they're against you. Soon, when the girls saw that you were hanging out with him, they stopped bullying you and eventually became your friend. You found out that the reason why they were picking on you is due to most of the guys they like wanted to get your attention. Now that everyone saw you being with this nerdy guy most of the time, they started backing off and letting you be. Thinking that you two are a couple. You made it clear to your new girlfriends that you were never interested in those guys from the beginning and to add reassurance, you also cleared that anyone who constantly bullies you turns you off in the long run.

With that being said, everything became alright for you slowly, except for that one japanese guy who you used to have a crush on. He never stopped picking on you. By this time, you were pretty sure he doesn't like you. Everyone left you and your best friend alone, excluding him. To make it worse, he started targeting your friend as well. Not knowing what his agenda is, you tried to consult with your newly made friends since they were the ones who have been in the inner circle of popular people in school. One of them told you that you and your friend might have surpassed him in a class. Having a competitive family, Genji is known to be competitive in school as well. Believing the theory of everyone else, you and your best friend tried to do average in school to make sure that you get in his way. Unfortunately, even if he got first place in class this semester, he continued bullying your friend. He might have stopped with you, but he focused on your friend.

One day when classes are over, you and your friends found yourselves in trouble with the school's notorious gang. Genji might be bullying you two but all he does was only tease and annoy the both of you. However, this certain group in your school is known for the severity of their acts. They were suspended for almost a whole semester due to extortion and now it's your first time to see them back on campus. Unfortunately, you and your friend were also their new victims. As your friend tried to fight them back so that you can run, you can't help but feel weak when you hear him get beat up from afar. Crying, you tried to run away as fast as you can but you weren't able to go that far. A large shadow towered over you while two hands tried to grab you. Wriggling, struggling, you screamed at the top of your lungs asking for help. One of the guys holding you took off your bag and threw it to another one from afar to inspect it. The other two tried to get you inside their car as you try to resist desperately.

No one in the backyard of the school tried to help you. All of the students in that area that saw the event started running away in fear of being included too. Fortunately, one of them bumped into Genji on the way back inside. Asking him why is he running, he tried to explain to the Japanese man in a quick panicking fast-paced speech. The moment Genji heard your name from the student's mouth and a high-pitched scream from afar, his heart dropped to the ground, knowing immediately that you were in danger. Blood immediately boiled inside him, furiously running outside to rescue you. The young Japanese was trained by his older brother in such ways that made him deadly. Masquerading as a normal wealthy Japanese student, no one on the campus knew that he came from a family of yakuza. Swiftly taking down two of the students holding you before they could even shove you inside their car. Startling the gang leader, ceasing his punches on your best friend. His eyes darted on Genji when he saw two of his members scurrying away in fear. The brute tried to attack him directly, headstrong towards the young ninja.
