Chapter 11

“Let’s play a game!” Tom said suddenly.

“A game?” I laughed.

“Yeah. What about quickfire?”

“Ok but only in one condition – you won’t ask stupid questions like ‘how many times do you brush your teeth?’ ok?” I said and he laughed.

“Deal. Let’s start it then. First question: Are you inlove?” he asked and I smirked.

“Yes.”

“Who’s the lucky guy?”

“I am not telling you!” I giggled.

“Why not?”

“Because it’s a secret” I whispered and winked.

“Fine” he sighed. “Are you ticklish?” he asked with a creepy smile.

“Why you are you asking a question to which you know the answer?” I ask back and started to back away from him slowly.

“Answer me!” he said.

“No.” I said slowly still backing away.

“Come here,Jules.”

“No,No I like it here. It’s more….comfortable.” I tried to lie but I saw him standing up and coming closer to me. When he was millimeters away from my face he leaned down.

“Why are you lying to me,Julia?” he whispered and I got goose bumps.

“W what are you talking about?” I managed to say.

“I perfectly know you’re ticklish, missy.” He said and in one moment he started tickling me. After a few minutes of torturing me he decided to stop. We were on the floor and he was on top of me. I tried to take a breath while he was looking intently down at me. He leaned down and when his lips touched mine I heard the doorbell. I composed my clothes and slowly went to open the door. My expression quickly turned into a sad and angry one.

“What are you doing here?” I asked coldly.

“I I I came to see you…and talk to you.” He said and looked to the floor.

“About what?”

“Can I come in and tell the reason I came here in this hour? It’s cold outside.” He said irritated. I was taken aback but then led him in. “Mate,what are you doing here?” he asked Tom when he saw him on my sofa.

“Funny, I’d ask the same question.” Tom answered and stood up. “Maybe you came to tell Julia what a jerk you are!” he shouted in Nathan’s face. I shut my eyes closed when the thoughts from earlier came flooding in my mind.

“What are you on about?” Nathan asked looking oblivious.

“You perfectly what I mean, Nathan.” Tom shouted again.

“No, I don’t!” Nathan raised his voice, too.

“Don’t play fool, Nathan! I know what you’ve done with Tiffani!” I decided to spoke up…well, I screamed it but it doesn’t matter. They both looked at me shocked from my sudden reaction.

“Jules, I can explain. I came here just to tell you the truth because I couldn’t take it lying to you.” He said in a lower voice.

 “You promised me the other day to never hurt me and what you did? You did exactly that- you hurt me! You two- you always break my heart. When I think it’s healed one of you always comes and ruin everything, comes and breaks my heart into a million pieces!” I screamed at them and by now my vision was blurred from the tears. I felt dizzy and the next thing I remember is Nathan and Tom screaming my name.
