9 // Cousin Love

'So Tired' , April mumbles and lies down on the bed at her cousin's house. 'I understand that', she says and smiles at April. 'But I'm so happy to be here!' April says excitedly and went to sit next to her cousin quickly.

'I'm glad to see you again too', Anne says and hugs her. 'We have a lot to talk about!' April sighs. 'And with that, I mean that I really have so much to tell you.'

'I'm ready', Anne says. 'It's about a boy right?'

April sighs. 'Well, you know I like Tyler right?' she asks her cousin. 'Yeah, I do.'

'Well, I don't know whether I still have a crush on him or not.'

'Why? Oh my gosh, April, you make me so bloody nervous!' Anne almost screams out of nervousness.

'Well, there's like this new guy at school and I had to lead him around a few days because my teacher thought I'm a good student and all.'

'Yeah,and?' 'Well, we started to talk and he's so sweet and nice and handsome too. But, I still liked Tyler back then. So Dylan - that's his name - and I started to hang out and he asked me for a Christmas party at his house.'

April pauses to take a breath. 'Well, at that Christmas party we were just talking, you know. But then suddenly his friend said that we were standing under a misletoe and we had to kiss. So we kissed and yeah...' She says remembering that day. How happy and confused she was at the same time.

'Did you felt anything back then?' Anne asks being the love expert she is. 'Wait, I'm going to tell everything and then answer your questions', April answers. 'You're not done yet?' Anne asks her cousin surprised.

'So, he drove me to the airport because he wanted too which I thought was very sweet and kind. So, when we were there we were talking and we both asked if we felt something during the kiss. Dylan said he did but I.. I just said I was confused and I still am. Right after I said that, I had to go to the plane and he wanted to kiss me again but right before we kissed, I pulled away saying 'I can't do this, I'm sorry.' And now I'm so confused you know?' April says sighing and starting to cry.

'Oh, April, don't cry.' Anne says and hugs her lovely cousin. 'I missed your hugs so much' She says and hug her thighter.

'So, do you still have feelings for Tyler? or Dylan?' Anne asks her. 'To be honest, I really don't know... I really don't.'

'Well, I suggest you to not think about it that much. It'll only make you feel worse. I love you, okay? Now go to sleep, you've had a long flight. And tomorrow's a big day,remember?' she says and winks before she turns off the light and closes the door behind her.

'A big day', April repeats after her. 'Seeing my parents again, finally', she smiles and closes her eyes softly.
