As soon as the schoolbell goes, April rushes out of her seat. She can't wait to go home. Although she did miss some classes today, she was happy and didn't regret anything.

'Making out with Tyler is way more fun, though', she thinks to herself while smiling at her thought.

'What are you thinking about?' She hears. April looks at her side and sees Tyler standing there with his standard smirk. 'Is it me?' He asks while pointing to himself. April feels her cheeks turn red.

'Yeah, you're blushing, it's me', he says. April rolls her eyes and laughs. 'Yeah, okay, it was you', she says. 'Good', Tyler answers.

'So, what are you doing today?' He asks which causes April to look at him. 'Homework, I guess', April answers, sighing at the thought. 'Come on, April, really?' He asks her, disgust in his voice.

April looks a bit confused at the boy she likes. 'Yeah,' she says and pauses for a second. 'I mean, if I want to have a nice job I should do my homework', she replies in her 'duh' voice.

Tyler sighs. 'April', he says and pauses, making sure she looks at him. 'Life is not Always about school, you know?'

April nods. 'Maybe he's right', she thinks to herself. 'Mrs. Brown wouldn't mind right?'

'Yeah', April says which causes Tyler to smirk again. 'My parents aren't home tonight', April says and winks. Tyler comes closer and April can feel his breath against her skin. 'Sounds good', he says and winks at her.

He walks away with that smirk on his face again, leaving April alone who is blushing like crazy.

Because of her talk with Tyler, she was later than usual. Which means that Louise probably already went home.

April didn't really cared, though. Her best friend seems to be a bit distant lately. Something's changed between them.

They don't do their daily talks about what happened in school and most importently, they don't watch their favourite tv show anymore.

The worst part of all is that April didn't cared about all of it. She had Tyler and she was happy. She does feel that she's changing a bit. Normally she would never skip classes. But today, today it felt good.

April opens the door of the huge building which is called school but she likes to call it 'prison' nowadays. Tyler said he thought school feels like prison and ever since, April kind of feels the same way.

She grabs her phone with her headphones and starts listening to her favourite band. That's another thing what makes her happy, music. And Tyler, of course.

It seems like her life is going better with Tyler. Sometimes she thinks he only likes her to makeout with her because they never do this 'couple things.' She's not quite sure whether they're a couple or not.

They've never been on a date before so, no?

'whatever', April mumbles. His kisses are good enough, too. She does wonder how that one night went...

She turns around the corner and sees her apartment already. She walks over to it and takes the stairs. Since she's quite scared of the elevator, she always takes the stairs. Unless she needs to carry something heavy.

When she finally arrived at the third floor, she grabs her key out of her backpack and opens the door. She walks over to her room, not bothering to look at Louise and throws her backpack on her floor.

'What the hell, April?' Louise yells. April just rolls her eyes. 'What?' she yells back. She hears Louise walking over to her room. 'What the hell is wrong with you lately?' She asks, still angry. April rolls her eyes again. 'Why do you care anyway?'

'Because', Louise sighs. 'Because I am your best friend', she continues. 'At least, I used to be', Louise says while storming out of April's room.

Instead of being hurt, April rolls her eyes again and doesn't care to go over to her... well yeah, roommate?
