"Is everybody.. here," Mikey stopped talking when Akeime crawled on the table, all the way to him who is sitting on the end of it

Ran and Rindou tried to stop her but she was too fast, and now she's sitting on the table in front of Mikey, both are in the game of staring contest

Akeime tilted her head in confusion; confused as to why this emo man in front of her is not carrying her like the other executives or even her mom would, "boo boo?"

"Ah, what should I do with this, Rindou?" Mikey asked confusingly, Ran started wheezing

"She wants you to carry her boss," Rindou said carefully

Mikey was hesitant at first, but then he remembered how much he wanted babies before that he even asked Draken to have a baby already. He smiled at the memory of the man he used to be and carried Akeime carefully, "there, you feel comfortable Akeime?"

They were soft for their boss who is carrying Rindou's child, but his soft stare turned into an emotionless one when he faced his executives. Talk about favoritism.

"As I was saying, it's been three years since we lost Koko. I know we don't want anyone to replace him but we need to find a new financial manager now," he said and looked at Sanzu, "like it or not."

Sanzu frowned, knowing he can't go against it.

"We're not replacing Koko as executive, if that's what you're thinking. This new manager will simply be assigned into tracking finances and join business negotiations," Mikey continued

"Well, I do know someone fit for the job," Ran said and looked at Rindou, "she went home, right? Since it's her mom's death anniversary next month?"

"Yeah, but we're not so sure if she'll be allowed to," Rindou answered, "but I can try asking her."

"And who is this person we are talking about exactly?" Kakucho asked

"Well, we have a cousin. She was brought up to manage their company as a successor but as far as we know she isn't the CEO yet because her father didn't step down and her stepmother is kind of making sure her own daughter will become the successor," Ran answered, "she's quite reliable and smart."

"And we know her personally, nothing to worry about," Rindou backed up

"Then, can you try asking her?" Mikey asked, "if she'll say yes, she's hired on the spot."

Ran nodded and it seems like nobody has any objections so Mikey dismissed the meeting and was about to leave the meeting room

"Ah boss, my daughter," Rindou called

Right, Akeime is still in his arms. So much for a badass looking boss.
