"Is everything good?" Ran paced back and forth to check everything. Forgive him, he's a perfectionist.
"If you'll help instead of pacing back and forth maybe we'd get things done, you know," Rindou rolled his eyes, annoyed at his brother
"Everything's all set, Ran. You can calm down," Mochi sighed
"Then, is Akeisha with Koko already?"
Sanzu checked his phone, "nah. Koko went somewhere."
They all looked at each other, of course. He's gonna go to her first before anything else.
"Akane-san," Koko greeted as he placed the bouquet down, "how are you up there?"
He bent down, he didn't want his tuxedo to get dirt in it since he still has a dinner date to attend to. He smiled while reading her name.
"It's been a while since I last came here, yeah?" he chuckled, "sorry about that, I got really busy. Surprisingly, not with work though. I got busy with her."
"I'm not gonna lie, Akane-san, it would have been better if I'll spend this day with you. I wish heaven had its visiting hours, even five minutes would do. Though, I know I'm not meant to go there but, it would be nice to see you even outside the gate."
He sighed and looked up, "but Akane-san, you wouldn't believe this one though. The things I used to feel with you, well, I can now feel it towards her also. Am I in love again?"
The wind blew softly, like it's caressing its face and giving him some sense of comfort. He smiled, it must be her.
"I know, Akane-san. If you were here right now, you would tell me to go for it. I'm sure you'd like her. She's very kind, and sweet."
He sighed and looked at her gravestone again, "but.. she's not you."
He stayed silent and closed his eyes. In this lifetime, he only wants to offer his heart to one girl and that girl is Inui Akane.
"I'd be a jerk but, I really don't want to try again, Akane-san," he whispered, "I only want you."
He hates the thought of hurting her. He hates the thought of pulling away from her, but being with her feels so wrong for him. Like he is betraying Akane just because she's no longer with him physically.
He stood up and smiled, "but for today, I'll let myself free fall into her arms. I wanna feel it one more time before completely letting go. For today, I'll be selfish."
He bowed down and turned around but looked back at her gravestone one more time, "I hope you won't hate me too much, Akane-san."
He walked away and dialed her number as he drove
