"Wait... you were serious?" Shego stared at the dark suited woman with only one visible eye.

"As serious as death, Ms. Go." She crossed her arms. "Of course if your thinking about backing out on our offer then I can always send you back to prison. I heard they've improved the serum for your glow suppressant. It would last much longer this time."

Shego blinked hard. No way in hell she was going back there. But she didn't think they took her seriously! She should've known Betty was not someone to understand sarcasm. She was a very literal woman. "Look Betty, I wasn't thinking you would take this literally. When you said anything I was joking when I suggested you give me Kim fucking Possible. Like who the hell basically sells someone just for cooperation?! There's no way I can do this!" Shego glanced over at the sleeping form that lay on a cot inside the darkened truck. No way. No fucking way she was doing this.

"Alright then." Betty shrugged. "Boys. Apprehend the criminal." Suddenly, six men surrounded Shego and before she had time to ignite her hands, they were encased by large clads of metal, she was familiar with this device. They kept her from accessing her glow.
The men grabbed her roughly. Manhandling her as if she were nothing more than a wild animal. They threw her into the back of the truck with a thud. She winced at the pain. They quickly tied her up and chained her to the wall of the truck. While they did all this, she didn't move, she only stared at the sleeping figure on the cot. Her red mane falling off the side a bit. Of course she wasn't going to take someone's whole life from them. She was a villain but she wasn't evil.
The men shut the door on her and there was darkness. This was going to be a very long ride so she might as well sleep.
It was only thirty minutes into the ride when Shego heard a small voice amidst the darkness.

"So you refused her offer." It wasn't a question. Shego jumped at the girls voice, unaware that she had been conscious that whole time.

"Offer?" She scoffed. "Global Justice is truly corrupted if they think it's okay for them to trade someone's life just for me to retire. It was a joke. I'm not doing that to you..." her voice lowered at that last part.

Kim was silent for a few moments. She eventually spoke again. "It's only 6 months out of the year."

"Kimmie, there's no way in hell that..." Kim cut her off.

"She lied."

"What?"

"Betty lied about the serum. It... it doesn't just last longer... it's permanent. One of your brothers was willing to try it. Mego, I think. Said he just wanted to be normal again." Kim turned on the cot to face the other woman but she was only met with darkness.

Shego was shocked. It was permanent. She'd no longer have her glow? "You're sure it's permanent?" She asked uneasy.

"Yeah. He's not had his powers for about 8 months now." Kim answered.

8 months?! The longest she had gone without her glow was a month, maybe two. She didn't know what else to say. She was going to lose her powers.
Neither woman spoke for what seemed like ages. Kim wasn't wanting to push the other woman too far and Shego just simply had nothing left to say. After about an hour, Shego dared to ask the most important question of that evening.

"So you knew about the arrangements? You knew about this?"

Kim seemed to shuffle on her cot, trying to sit up. "Yes." She answered.

"Why?" The villain asked incredulously.

There was a long pause before Kim finally answered, "Because, I didn't want them to take your life away."
