"I'm kind of tired today"
"You know I wouldn't mind lending my shoulder for a bit!"
"Haha very funny Ajax" Lumine said with a sarcastic tone
"What can I say? I'm quite humorous the girls may say" he says as he looks like he's trying to charm Lumine
Lumine stares at Ajax for a moment with a concerned face
"Can't get enough of this face? I'm handsome aren't I?" He says with a cocky tone.
Lumine burst out laughing
"Oh Ajax you're very funny, whatever you say" Lumine stands up and looks at Ajax
"Okay Mr handsome I have class see you later" putting her arms on her hips and then leaving the cafeteria
Ajax's cheeks has a tint of red on it
"I wish I could ask her out already.." he says as he covers his face with his hand
Ajax's friend saw him and greeted him
"What's seems to be the matter Childe?"
"Oh Zhongli, nothing much just some girl problems, I'm too handsome that these girls can't resist me" he smiles
Zhongli just looks at him and shrugs
"It was nice seeing you Childe but I need to attend class, I look forward to our next meeting"
"Good luck zhongli!"
Time skip
Lumine stretches as she's finally done with class
She walks out the door to be greeted by a familiar voice
"Hey girlie you lost?" While holding lumines hair
Lumine was jumpscared by ajax
"Geez Ajax you scared me!" As she whacks his hand away with a tint of red on her cheek and an annoyed look
"Ahahahaha! Sorry, your reaction is funny!"
Lumine is embarrassed and walk fast leaving Ajax behind
"Awh come on you should've your face!"
Lumine starts running
"Lumine wait!"
Ajax runs to lumine while lumine walks out the door
Ajax suddenly hugged lumine from the back and raised her
"Hey what are you doing?! Put me down!"
Lumine says slightly hitting Ajax's hand
"Now now princess if you stop being mad at me I'll let you down"
"And what if I say no?"
"I'll carry you home!"
Lumine stayed silent
"So what do you say Lumine?"
"Fine I'm not mad anymore, Now put me down!"
Ajax chuckles and puts lumine down
Lumine sigh
A couple minutes later
"Can I come to your house again?" Ajax smiles while asking lumine on the walk to her home
"You're only asking that now? When we're almost near my house?"
"Is that a yes?"
Lumine sigh
"Sure I suppose"
"Woohoo!"
Both of them arrived at lumine's house and went in
"Feels like home!"
"Maybe because you come here almost every single time of the year"
"Ahahahaha! You're right, but i'm sure you enjoyed my company no?" She chuckled
"Whatever you say Ajax" lumine starts going to her room
"I'm gonna change first, can you cook us something while I shower and change?"
"Of course!
"Thanks!"
Lumine went to her room and showered while Ajax is making food
After a couple of minutes, lumine was done showering she went to the kitchen
"Oh hey lumine! I'm almost done, you can wait on the table!"
"Oh I thought you wanted some help so I came here.."
"Well you can get the plates ready"
"Alrighty"
Lumine went to set down a spoon and a fork for Ajax and then a chopstick for lumine on two sides of the table, since she knows Ajax can't use chopsticks, she remembers to put a fork and a spoon
"I'm done!"
He puts down a plate In Front of lumine and one In Front of himself
"Thank you for the food!"
Lumine starts eating the food ajax and ajax hasn't touched his
Lumine noticed this and said
"You should eat now instead of staring at me eating"
"Well" Ajax looks nervous
"I just wanted to know if you liked my cooking.." Ajax said with a tint of red on his cheek and hands on his neck
Lumine looked at Ajax for a moment
"It's good I guess"
Ajax's face lit up and smiled warmly
Lumine felt a bit embarrassed
"Hurry up and eat your food weirdo!"
Childe laughs and finally eats
After they ate they went to Sit on a couch
Childe speaks up
"Hey, I have a song that reminds me of you! Do you wanna hear it?"
"Do I even have a choice?"
"Hahaha! Nope!"
Ajax plays the song
She ain't got no money
"Are you looking for a fight with Ajax?"
Her clothes are kinda funny
"What of course not!"
Her hair is kinda wild and free
"Then why does it remind you of me?"
Ajax hesitates and says
Oh but love grows
"I liked you Lumine"
where my rosemary goes
Lumine was as red a tomato and ajax was the same
And nobody knows
"Since when?"
Like me
"It's been a long time lumine"
She talks kinda lazy
"You made me feel special lumine"
And people say she's crazy
"It's like I never did anything wrong in my life since I've met u"
And her life's a mystery
"You're so kind"
Oh but love grows
"You're sweet"
Where my rosemary grows
"So what I'm saying is"
And nobody knows
Ajax hesitates
Like me
"I like you lumine. Will you go out with me?"
Ajax turns off the music
Ajax looked down at his lap with a tint of red on his cheeks and lumine stared at Ajax with a red face once again from Ajax confession
Lumine was still shocked and red
"Ajax I.."
Ajax looked at lumine nervously
"Ajax I don't look at you that way…"
"Oh.."
Ajax's life was drained from his eyes
"I'm sorry Ajax but I'm hoping we'll still be friends?"
Lumine knows it wont work out but she has hope
"Of course! I'll.. get over it, just give me some time to think"
"Of course Ajax"
Ajax stands up and starts to open the door
He looked back at lumine and with a smile he said
"Have a good night!"
Lumine waved before he went out and left
"I'm sorry…"
