Mina's POV

Finally. After a Month of spending my time in finding Eomma and Appa, I'm finally infront of their house.

I press the doorbell and it opened...

' M-mina ' Sana spoke nervously
' Why are you here unnie? ' I asked

' Well... We left Seoul to look for Mr. And Mrs. Son just like what I planned ' Sana said and look away
' Oh. she really are serious that time ' I whispered to mt self
' Who's there Sana? ' I heard Eomma spoke

I enter the gate without anyone letting me in

Eomma look at me with shocked face
' Mi...Mina ' She spoke and the glass that she's holding fell in the ground

Why do they look so nervous?

' Eomma ' I called and look at her She's about to cry
' Mina ' She called and walk fast towards me stumbling

' You're such a fine woman now, How are you ' Eomma said cupping my face
' I can't say I'm good because I am not ' I said and smile sadly

' Let's get in it's cold in her ' Eomma said while holding both of my hands

The snow will surely fall anytime soon

They're just in here at Japan. How come I didn't see them immediately.

We get in the house and she get me a hot chocolate, Does Eomma thinks I'm still a kid?

I chuckled internally and drink the hot chocolate

' How are you? ' Eomma asked
' After Chaengs death, I never been fine ' I said

She remained silent... maybe she can't still accept it too

' Sorry for bringing that up Eomma ' I said and look down
' Sorry for hurting her subconsciously. Sorry to worsen her disease ' I said

I can feel my eyes getting hot

' We should be the one that's sorry Mina, Not you ' Appa suddenly said walking towards us
I look at him confusedly while Eomma look down

' We're sorry... I hope you forgive us ' Appa said
' What do you mean Appa? ' I asked

' If you want to know... Stay here for a bit ' He said and smile sadly

Not so Long after the door opened

' Eomma, we're home '

I immediately look behind hearing that voice...

' Oh, You got a visitor ' She said and smile a bit
' She's Myoui Mina, Your... Your best friend since childhood ' Eomma said

' Myoui Mina. ' She said and chuckled a bit that made me nervous

' Sorry we kept her ' I heard Appa said

I walk towards Chaeyoung... I cupped her face while she just stare deeply in my eyes

She slightly pushed me and look at me with blank face

' Eomma I'm tired, I'll be in my room ' She said while looking at me then smile at Eomma

She walk passed by me and straightly go upstairs

' W-what's the meaning of this? Eomma? Appa? ' I asked and face them, Eomma is already silently crying while Appa is just looking away

' We faked her death... I thought it's for the best we kept her since she didn't remember you. Sorry for being selfish Mina. Sorry for being unfair, I just can't see her enduring her pain anymore. after a week of our disappearance, We performed the surgery and it went well but she was under coma for almost 7 months. And when she woke up she doesn't remember a thing ' Eomma said

I fell on my knees while dahyun and help me

' Eomma. W-why? I keep blaming myself for her death. I keep telling myself I don't deserve to be happy after what I've done to her but after all these years she's alive? Eomma I suffered how many years! ' I slightly shouts

' Mina unnie calm down ' Dahyun spoke
' H-how can I? How could you not tell me immediately! ' I said and push her

' Mina, Understand Auntie and Uncle... They did that because they are chaeyoung's parents, They just do what they think the best for Chaeyoung ' Sana said

' And that best is Without me? ' I asked in disbelief

A brief of silence occur not until Appa walk towards me and hold my hands

' We know you're upset- or mad, And we deserve your madness princess, But please understand your Eomma, We also talk about telling you but since Your friends Dahyun and Sana came, we thought- '

' Does my parents knew this? ' I asked
' They do ' Appa said so I scoffed and pull my hands off him

' Listen, Listen Miguri. We didn't intend to hurt you, Please trust us. We will help you with her. You have my blessing to marry her. Please Mina, We're sorry ' Appa spoke and pull me inside his embrace

' You can stay here Mina, To be close to Chae again. ' Eomma said

' A lot of time got wasted. ' I mumbled

' Can I really marry her? ' I asked and look at him while he chuckled and nods
' Okay, I forgive you ' I said and get off his arms

I look down and walk towards the door and I saw Dahyun and Sana Slightly giggle

' I'll be back ' I said and left
