I could barley breathe, my heart wasn't even in my chest anymore it was beating while it hung from my body.

"You really don't? Wow Ben, I'm hurt I really am. When you were fifteen in high school you don't remember rejecting a date from a young girl who didn't have much going for her? Huh Ben? Do ya?" She seemed angrier.

"No, I don't, why does that-"

"It matters because she asked you out multiple times Ben! And every time you said no! But when Nicole asked you out when you were sixteen, only a year later you said yes instantly! Why Ben? Why her and not that girl? Why did you say no to me Ben!" The louder she yelled, and the deeper she got into the story I realized what she was getting at, I felt bile rising from my stomach.

"You know Ben, I've lived by you for a long time. When you moved from your childhood home, I moved with you. I watched you every day in college, I watched while you gazed at Nicole and ignored me. Then when the two of you got married, I watched from the back of the church. I watched you confess your dying love to her and it tore me to pieces. So one day, when I was watching the two of you having your usual good times together at the lake, I got sick of being the watching woman. So I quietly went into the lake, held my breath for as long as I could, and when I felt someone jump in, I knew it was Nicole. I swam until I felt a body, and long hair. I fought with her under water while we both fought for our breath, and I killed her. I murdered your wife, and my competition Ben! And when you jumped in after her, I made my way out with her body. I destroyed it. I cut her up, limb by limb-"

"STOP!" I yelled, unable to understand this.

"No! It's my turn to talk" she snapped. "I cut her limb by limb and burned her to ash. I hated her Ben, she kept us apart. But now we can be together" she dropped the knife and ran towards me, throwing herself on top of me.

"Get off of me! Stop! I don't love you!" I yelled, and that's what made her loose all of her marbles.

"What did you just say" she hissed.

"I don't love you Julia! You're a psycho! You've been stalking me for almost fifteen years and you killed...get out!" I yelled in her face, feeling myself loosing my patients.

"It doesn't work like that sweetie, but nice try. I'm not leaving. You're going to love me, whether you like it or not" her eyes turned black. I ran for the phone but she pulled it from the wall. I would never hit a woman, but I knew that if I didn't act now she'd kill me.

"Ben, you can't get rid of me!" She charged after me with a knife, it went into the wall and she backed away. I slammed my head into hers sending her to the floor, I pulled the knife from the wall and took a few deep breaths, I felt the sting of scratches on my face and used it as my motivation. I thought about how I've felt the last two years without my wife, and I looked down at Julia, my wife's murderer. I drove the knife into her chest, blood splattered from her body and I jumped off of her now dying body.

"911, I have to report a murder"
