Enjoy!!

Louis POV

I look at myself in the mirror skeptically, touch my hair trying to fix the stray hairs into place.

"Mate, you're acting like a school girl, you look fine!" Harry tells me watching me mess with my clothes, since I've decided I look like a total mess.

"No I do not, look at me I'm a mess, she's think I'm an idiot, oh wait I am an idiot, what was I thinking asking her out?" I exclaim in protest raking my hands through my hair.

"You were thinking, she's a really fit girl, who you like and who likes you, and that you want to go out with her. You do not look like a mess; she'll think you're hot, because I've seen the way she looks at you. Stop worrying, I'm going to get Zayn to come fix your hair for you."

With that re-assuring speech Harry leaves the room, leaving me alone to critique every aspect of my appearance. Finally I just turn away from the mirror in attempt to stop thinking of all the ways this night will fail, and most of those ways included variations of Taylor thinking I look horrible and telling me I'm too ugly for her.

I told Harry about this thought earlier and he looked like he wanted to try to slap some sense into me, he probably would have too if Niall hadn't been there to distract him by asking repeatedly to go to Nandos.

I know that there is just about no chance of Taylor saying anything like that to me but what can I say? I have a vivid and wandering imagination.

It's been a week since I asked Taylor out and since then I've only seen her twice, both times Dani had been there and now the two girls are practically best friends. Actually she's at Taylor's house right now helping her get ready for our date tonight.

With Danielle to help her I bet Taylor is having a lot less trouble with her appearance than I am with mine, I think grudgingly.

"Your hairs savior is here!" Zayn announces, walking into the room with Harry close behind him.

"All hail Zayn!" I say mockingly, with a smile playing at my lips.

"Do not mock me! You are the one with the apparent hair troubles and all I'm here to do is help you." He argues, holding in a laugh.

"Oh well I hope you'll accept my sincerest apology." I tell him bowing my head.

"Yes, yes, alright, let's get down to it then. What to do, what to do." Zayn ponders, stroking a mustache that he doesn't even have.

"How bad is it?" I ask uncertainly, remembering my worries once again.

"Well Harry was right." Zayn turns his head and nods at Harry.

"Right about what? What did Harry say about my hair?" I demand shifting my gaze between the two of them.

"I said that your hair looks fine and that you're getting all worked up over nothing. And now you see that Zayn, master of hair, agrees with me." Harry informs me, giving me a pointed look that says 'Ha! I told you so!'.

"Okay, whatever, forget the hair. What about the rest of me?" I press the topic.

"You look great!" Harry stands by his previous statement.

"He speaks the truth." Zayn agrees.

"But what if - " I get cut off by Harry.

"Stop worrying about it, honestly mate, just think about something else.”
