Thanks for the comments on the last chapter and the 22K reads like OMG and this story is number 394 for fanfictions which might seem high but I thought it was pretty awesome! Anyway enjoy this chapter, sorry about the length!

Louis POV

I look over at Taylor on our way out of the forest and I honestly feel like I am truly and completely happy for the first time since Eleanor broke up with me over a month ago and I can see in her eyes and smile that she feels the same happiness that I do.

The date has been going practically perfect so far, I was a little worried about the picnic in the forest just because it was so secluded and then there's of course the fact that when she first met me she thought I was some kind of creep who was going to take advantage of her.

Taking another glance at her I know I could never dream of taking advantage of her, even if she is a few years younger than me, I don't notice it at all when I'm with her, she's brilliant to talk to and mature beyond her years.

I figure that, that maturity probably has something to do with what happened to her brother, it's a horrible thing to have to go though especially at such a young age. Even now being twenty-one I don't know if I'd be able to deal with one of my sisters leaving me that way.

I admire her a lot for that and I love the fact that she's comfortable enough with me to tell me these things and talk about anything else that's bothering her, at this point I don't even know who Eleanor is, Taylor is the only girl on my mind.

“You're awfully quiet,” Taylor comments squeezing my hand and bringing me back to earth instead of my fantasy thoughts about her, “penny for your thoughts.”

She looks up at me smiling, amused by the old phrase.

“Oh no I'll sell them for a dollar.” I sing softly, quoting the popular song.

“They're worth so much more after I'm a goner.” I add after a moment.

“You're a really great singer you know.” she tells me matter-of-factly.

“So I've been told!” I reply with a small laugh, “What about you? Do you sing?”

This time she laughs shaking her vigorously, I nudge her shoulder with my own signaling for an explanation.

“Believe me I've read all those book about the girls who think they're horrible at something but in the end they win the big trophies for it, but I can promise you that is not me and I am perfectly okay with singing horribly off-key as long as the music is loud enough to cover it.” Taylor explains good-naturedly talking about her small ability musically very comfortably.

I can't imagine what it would be like to not be able to sing, I mean I guess that's just me and I know everyone has different passions in like and music just happens to be mine. But after everything that has happened for the lads and I since X-factor it's hard to imagine doing anything else.

“I'll just have to sneak up to you on one of these so called off-key singing sessions and see for myself!” I tell smiling mischievously.

“I'd love to see you try!”

“I'll let you know I take that as a challenge!” I exclaim.

“I'll let you know that I spoke it as one!”

Back in the car I cruise along the streets of San Francisco paying more attention to the less crowded streets considering that if we were to walk onto streets crowded with people who might recognize me it might put a damper on the night, something that I'm sure neither of us wants.

Finally I see one cafe that is nearly deserted and I just have to hope that it's mostly only older people inside because teenage girls can get a little crazy, when it's adults they usually just ask for autographs for their children or grandchildren which I'm always happy to do, no matter how much I wish for my privacy sometimes.

“Is this okay?” I pull up in front of the shop trying not to seem nervous while I wait to see if Taylor likes it.

It's actually probably a little bit stupid how nervous I get around her and how worried I am to disappoint her or give her a bad impression of me like that I'm a stuck up selfish pop-star as I think she might have thought before she met me. I like to think that I am just as normal as every other twenty-one year old guy. Just with a different life-style.

I hate to think that people around the world feel I'm stuck up or rude, I understand why people might think that, I mean it's pretty easy for fame to go to a teenagers head so I take every opportunity possible to make sure people I know, know the real me. Especially Taylor.

She nods smiling and I pull into a nearby parking lot since the cafe doesn't have it's own, after parking I get out of the car and rush to the passengers side to open Taylor's door for her.

“Like a true gentleman.” she comments smiling stepping from the car to the pavement.

“Shall we?” I ask offering her my arm.

“We shall.” Taylor loops her arm through mine and we make our way across the street and into the coffee shop.

Together we pick a table in a far corner, even though the shop isn't very crowded we both agree that a more secluded table would be better number on because it's a date and number two he'll have less chance of being recognized this way.

Taylor tells me to buy her something that looks good and includes whipped cream and with that order in mind I go line up and leave her at the table at which time she promptly takes out her phone and starts playing some game.

I wait in line behind a woman looking to be in her early twenties and a middle aged man. A few minutes later I'm next in line and I look over at Taylor who seems to be staring intently at me I smile a little but moment later I realize she isn't looking at me but the person in front of me.

I'm more than a little confused by this until I focus a little more on the woman's voice. I realize I know that voice, I know that voice very well.

This could be problematic.

Who do you guys think is in the shop? It's actually sort of obvious, but maybe I just think so because I know who it is...anyway take a guess! I'll probably update Saturday but if I get a huge amount of comments and or reads then I might update tomorrow since I already have the chapter written!
