Natasha's POV:

The battle against Ultron had ended a few months back, Wanda and Pietro Maximoff joined the Avenger's. I get I should be pissed at her for messing with my mind but I can't seem to hate her the way I should. She seems so vulnerable, I would get why. From what the files said, she's been through a lot.

Her brother Pietro, or Piet as he prefers us call him is a ball of energy. He's always full of it and running, but I guess if I had super speed I would be too.

Tony came down to the compound to spend some time with us today. Thor was off world somewhere and Banner is missing. I know he wanted to leave but I couldn't, I belong here. He probably wasn't it for me though, but as an ex-assassin nobody could ever really love you the way you want them to. Sucks.

The team, well who's left of it, are spread across the living room. Spread out across the semi circle shaped couch. We're having a horror movie marathon, it was nothing intense and nobody seems scared of it.

I was sat between the meathead of a super soldier I call one of my best friends and the Billionaire I call a best friend as well.

I peaked pass Steve's insanely sized arms to look for the other girl. She was sat on the edge of the couch, wrapped up in her hoodie and shivering, away from every one. She seemed so small.

I got out from between the two men and made my way to the blanket cupboard to go grab her one.

Wanda's POV:

I'm not one for horrors, I like sitcoms and romcoms. Piet had suggested I come down and watch so here I am. Half way through the movie I saw Natasha get up and leave.

A few minutes later she walked back in and over to my way. Why?

Once she got there, she sat down next to me and smiled. The ex-spy spread the blanket out and put it over us.

I don't know what to do! Do I speak? Do I talk?

"Hello" she greeted with a soft smile. All I could push up was a tiny "Hi". She seemed amused with my nerves running through me.

"Calm down Wanda, I don't bite." she chuckled. "You seemed cold so I got us a blanket!"

I have to admit, I didn't think she was this nice.

"But...what about me brining up your past?"
i asked her.

"It's okay, just never again."

Gladly.

I didn't like seeing the pain I caused to her, maybe I can make I up to her?

"So I get you're shy and all but sit closer, body heat is what's gonna keep us warm!" Natasha joked. What's the point in it anyway, she'll probably forget I exist soon.

I shifted closer to her and felt an arm drape over my shoulders, giving them a gentle squeeze. I looked up at the Russian and she smiled before pulling me closer and putting her chin on my head and focussing on the movie. A pink tint spread across my face, unable to help it I dug my face under the blanket and cuddled into her side.

No One's POV:

The two girls sat together and watched every movie Tony had picked out. About the 7th movie in, Wanda began to grow tired and let out a small yawn, not going unnoticed by Natasha. " Sleep" she told the brunette. She was out a few minutes later and Natasha couldn't help but admire her

"I'll protect you little witch, you're special to me." She whispered and kissed the top of the other girl's head. They sat like that for hours, the Russian eventually joining the Sokovian in sleeping. Once both girls were alseep, Stark had his phone out and took pictures of them. Who wouldn't? It's not everyday you see The Natasha Romanoff gentle with someone. Those girls are gonna be a great pair.
