Natasha's POV:

I'm currently driving to one of my local flower stores in search for some pretty ones to put up for display.

I moved to Los Angeles a little over six months ago. See, I'm a neurosurgeon and needed to move to get a new start. Just before I moved here, my wife Maria Hill and I got divorced, and as much as she won't admit it, she was the reason we ended. I found her in bed with my friend Sam Wilson, now I hate them both. It's somewhat like that one dude from Grey's Anatomy. Mc Hottie? Mc Smoking? I don't know, but it's something like that.

Anyway, as part of my new life, I decided at-least once a week I'd buy myself a now bouquet of flowers every week...let's call it self-care or some shit like that. Point is, I needed something to look forward to once a week.

I've been going to this new one for about a month now and every time I go there, there's this beautiful green-eyes woman sitting behind the counter drawing little doodles on a sticky note pad.

I notice I'm pulling up to the store and start getting excited. I park in front of the store and rush out of my car, locking the doors behind me, of course. I stumble into the store and fall face first, I hear giggles and look up to see the beautiful brunette woman covering her mouth with her hand as she giggles.

I jump back up, straighten my suit and fix my hair,"I'm alright! I'm alright." I inform her and she nods still giggling.

I walk through the aisles of flowers looking for my usual bunch but also taking quick glances at the woman at the counter. I notice my usual white tulips and grab a bouquet.

I walk up to the counter and try to get words out but fail. "Do you want to pay for these?" she laughs sweetly and I nod. I take my purse out and give her twenty dollars. "Thank you, see you next week." she smiled and I take the bouquet and begin to walk out. I walk to my car, opening the back door to put the flowers.

I look back at the store and make a possibly dumb decision.

I run back inside and see her look at me confused. I go over to the roses and pick out a single red one. I walk up to the counter and hold it out for her. "I'd like to buy this as well please.".

She rang it up and handed it back to me. "This for someone special? That's always what single roses are for?" she guesses, "Um yeah actually." I smiled widely. I see her smile drop for a split second before she puts it back up.

"Who's the lucky woman?" she asks.

"Woman?" I raise my eyebrows.

"A woman such as yourself doesn't walk around like that in a suit that hot and not date women." she smirks, going back to her doodles. "Wanna tell me about her?" she asks?

"Sure. She has green eyes and brown hair." she looks back up at me interested, "I've been wanting to ask her on a date for the past two weeks, she works in a flower shop, I don't know her name yet, so I refer to her as Flower Girl, oh and did I mention she's gorgeous?"

She laughs ,"Okay then, I won't hold you back from this Flower Girl."

I grab the rose and hold it out for her,"Here you go Flower girl."

She takes it slowly and smirks," How about you call me Wanda instead of Flower Girl?" . I smile back at her and say,"Well Wanda, would you kindly give me the absolute honor of letting me take you out on a date?" I ask hopefully. "Sure hot woman in a suit, you have a card?".

I pull one of my business cards from my pocket and handed it to her, "Natasha Romanoff, a neurosurgeon. Impressive." she bites her bottom lip and smiles at me ,"I'll give you a call doctor Romanoff. Now go, if you're a neurosurgeon I'm sure you need to get to the hospital." she jokes and I nod. We greet each other and the moment I'm out of her sights I jump up and down on excitement. I am so ready for this date.
