Loud knocks rapped against the wooden door to your room, startling you awake. You lifted your head, still heavily drowsy. What the hell was going on? When you caught a glimpse of the room, you remembered you were no longer in your universe; instead, you were in your room at the Survey Corps headquarters.

"Holy fuck..."

Realization of where you really were smacked you as hard as the Titan did yesterday. None of this should've been happening. You should've been sleeping in your bed in your apartment, waking up only to your alarm. You should've had plans to meet up with Tessa for breakfast before class. Your parents should've called you for your weekly talks where you all caught up with each other. Instead, you were stuck in a universe that wasn't your own.

Panic started setting in, and you took deep breaths, trying to calm your raising anxiety. It had been years since your last panic attack, and you didn't want to change that now.

Another set of knocks erupted on your door before it flung open, and you scrambled to wrap the blanket around your naked body. Hange stepped into your room, far too energetic for how early in the morning it was. They excitedly said your name and strode over to your bedside.

"Good morning," they cooed.

"What time is it?"

"Eight. Breakfast started an hour ago, so Erwin sent me to get you so that you could eat something."

Hange didn't give you a chance to respond. They grabbed your arm and yanked you out of bed, making you clench your hands around your blanket even tighter. You tried to explain to Hange that you weren't wearing clothes, but they didn't listen and dragged you out of your room and down the hall. Their death grip on your arm prevented you from escaping back to your room, and you made a mental note to start locking your door at night.

"I can't wait to take you shopping, but you need to eat first. You must be starving!" Hange rambled.

Food had never sounded so appealing as it did now, but your fear over the entire Survey Corps seeing you nude outweighed how famished you were. But Hange continued pulling you through the hall and down the staircase, making you hold the blanket closer to you. Every step you took was carefully placed, and you let out a sigh of relief when you finally made it to the first floor, only to immediately feel dread when you closed in on the dining hall.

You frantically whispered Hange's name over and over again as they dragged you around the building towards two large wooden doors. You mentally prepared yourself for what was about to happen, and you took a deep breath when Hange threw open one of the doors. Silence fell over the dining hall, and everyone turned to look at you and Hange.

"I'm going to commit a felony," you muttered.

Everyone stared at you in a mixture of confusion and curiosity until whispers broke out among the Scouts. Handling conversations with them was going to be something you needed to navigate carefully. You couldn't tell them you were from another universe—not that they would've believed you if you did—but you had to find a valid excuse for why you had been found in Wall Maria.

You looked around the room, locating the table where Levi's squad sat. All of them looked at you with intrigue, and Petra smiled when your eyes met her. She lifted her hand in a small wave, and you smiled a little. Her death was still heartbreaking for you. She seemed so sweet.

Beside their table sat Nanaba and Gelgar, who watched you. Nanaba eyed you from head to toe, amusement twinkling in her eyes, and Gelgar smirked and acknowledged you with a tip of his head. They didn't have much screen time in the show, but the game made them seem like fun people to be around. You hoped you got the chance to spend some time with them and Levi's squad.
