After paroozing the shops with no money and crippling debt, I decided to stop at the coffee shop to look for freebies. Upon opening the door, I was greeted with the pleasant aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Swag. I love caffeine, although it is a downgrade from my chronic alcoholism from last month. I turned my head to the counter, and saw a big green bird dude looking at me. Honestly? Kinda hot. I approached the bar and took a seat. He didn't say anything for a second, but was staring at me. Honestly? Kinda creepy. "H-how may I help... You?" The bird said, quietly. "I'm very hungry. Give me the rice. Give me the soda. Give me the hamburger. Give me the- no! I don't want that!" I said, ritualistically. The bird's chest heaved a little. I was unsure if he was weeping or stifling laughter. "Coo... Coffee is... 200 bells a cup... Interested?" He asked. Hot again. All I had in my pockets were some weeds and some seashells. No one in the right mind would buy those, so I planned to throw them into someone's yard. If only I could get money! "I uh... I'm a little broke, actually," I said with a grand, beaming smile. The bird looked at me for a moment, behind the glasses with the rotund frames, I could see his little eyes moving up and down subtly but noticeably. Analyzing. "For you... On the house."
