The Wolfpack troopers had docked, and set to work creating defenses, briefing citizens on what to do, and scouting. A gang of marauders attempted to rob mr. porter but the 20 marauders were beaten back easily by the 5 guards. The marauders were pursued and 8 were captured.
Meanwhile the pups were being trained how to shoot, act in dangerous situations, and use weapons according to their unique abilities. Hunter and chase taught shooting and Paw to Paw combat. Rocky was taught how to create explosives by Leo, and crash taught skye and Zuma how to steer and fly combat boats and choppers. The hard training was exhausting but they gradually got stronger and faster.
Eventually they were accepted as an official squad, with Chase in charge and Marshall his deputy. Scouts had discovered a reasonably sized camp where an important marauder was staying with 50 others, now hunter, Logan, and the pups were going to assassinate him.
"I'm unsure about this," Ryder worried, "I don't want my pups killing!"
"Don't worry," Hunter reassured him "they're just there to see how this works."
The pups climbed aboard the chopper with Skye and Logan flying.
Ryder was still worried as he watched the Black Hawk lift off and fly away...
