"Smile for the picture, prince Alatus!" The photographer told, and Xiao tries his best to force a smile, just so he wouldn't put more pressure on his mother's shoulder especially after overhearing her arguments with his father.

Beidou's hands were placed on his shoulders, tapping him slightly to give comfort.

The photographer handed little Xiao the image of his family. No matter how fake the happiness seems, no matter how forced his smile was, he will forever treasure this picture as a part of his life.

Nothing much changed between the two lovers. They would love and give each other affection, every single day. Although there are still quite of error—arguments or so. Like that one time where they chose to fight over the warm blanket in Xiao's room instead of just asking the maids to give them another, which led them to ignore each other for a day—but the heated tension between both of them quickly warmed up when Venti wakes up in Xiao's arms despite knowing he didn't sleep in Xiao's room. Xiao even kissed him on the forehead, just because of a blanket. Precisely disgusting.

They were just happy. Smile on their faces every day. They get to eat breakfast together every morning—with the other family members that Xiao never thought he would've eaten alongside with.

Venti really brought everything together in one piece inside this castle. The lost happiness was now found, because of him. Xiao would never regret making him his future spouse. But what really lingers in Xiao's mind is... Why is Venti still known as a princess instead of a prince which he truly is? Why can't anyone know his true identity? It must be Xiao just overthinking things, because it was his fault for categorizing Venti as a woman from the start—and so it's his fault that everybody thinks he was one too. But it's not too late for changes, he will take care of this right after Beidou and Ningguang's wedding anniversary. If Venti would still be there.

"Why did you bring me here, Ningguang?" Venti asks, confused about why he was dragged somewhere private. "The wedding anniversary is getting near, she is coming back."

"Who- hey! Why don't you seem happy about your wedding anniversary with princess Beidou!"

"Because I and Beidou have all the time in the world. We can be happy anytime we want, as long as we want—we have achieved our happy ending. But there are still some stories yet to be told... Some pages need to be discovered. A war that needs to be finished. And it all depends on you."  He cupped Venti's face. "Fight til' the end."

"Uh. I would've understood anything if it weren't for you trying to be mysterious and hiding everything from me and Xiao?"

"All will be revealed... Very soon. No matter how hard it gets, I'm always on your side, mm? Thank you for building this family once again."

"My dear Aether, won't you let your beauty take over the whole celebration? I don't see the need for you to keep hiding from them."

"I want to, Kazuha. I want to dance you, but I am afraid of facing my past, the past that I ran away from, because in their eyes—I am dead. In Albedo's eyes, I am dead-"

"But you aren't dead in my eyes." Kazuha holds onto Aether's wrist, looking directly at his eyes. "In my eyes, you are Aether, the man I love. Since you can't attend for the night... Will you let me accompany you, then?"

"As if you would even want to spend the whole night with a boring prince like me. You can just wander around, or even borrow Beidou's ship since she trusts you so much."

"Aether, let's leave everything behind and get married."

"Hah?! I'm- what?! I'm not even in love with you!"

"Okay! I'll keep waiting for you!"

"Kojou Sara..." Beidou says, her glare sharp as a knife, sharp as her sword. "Princess Beidou." And of course, just like a high ranked person should be treated. "It's been a while. Welcome back."
