Before I Met You

Chapter 27: Moving In

It was the next day and Adam had just got off a phone call with a realtor.
Gionna was coming outside to see how he was doing.
She came up behind him placed her hand on his back as she walked around and stood infront of him.

Gionna: how did it go ?

Adam: pretty well actually, the realtor says that i could have a buyer within a week potentially, I've just got to get the rest of my stuff.

Gionna then asked if he had already taken all of his instruments to the recording studio.

Gionna: baby ?

Adam: yes my love ?

Gionna: have you taken all of your instruments to the studio already ?

Adam: not all of them, why ?

Gionna: well i was wondering if you'd bring a couple of your guitars here and then maybe teach me how to play ?

Adam: are you sure ?

Gionna: please, I think it'd be something nice to, plus I'd like it if you'd play for me every once in a while, i still remember when you first played some songs for me.

Adam then smiled as he held Gionna by her waist and recalled the first time they were "together".

Adam: I remember, it was right before the first time we... you know.

Gionna blushed as she knew exactly what he was talking about.

Gionna: yeah, I certainly remember that baby.

Adam: alright then, if you really want to learn, then i will most certainly love to teach you how to play.

Gionna hugged Adam.

Gionna: thanks baby, I'd love to have you teach me. And I'll have a hot teacher too.

Adam smiled and rolled his eyes while Gionna giggled and winked at him.

Gionna kissed Adam before they went back inside.

A few hours later, after helping Gionna around the ranch, they both had a shower and got changed into some clothes.
They were now chilling on the couch and Gionna decided to ask Adam when he would like to get the rest of his stuff.

Gionna: baby ? When would you like to get the rest of your stuff ?

Adam: I'll just get the rest of my stuff tomorrow, and then I can bring the raptor tomorrow as well since the rest of my stuff will fit in the back of it.

Gionna: okay.

It was the next day and Adam was at his old place and he had finished packing the rest of his stuff and putting it in the back of his raptor.

He went into his front room that was now empty.
He was looking around and in his mind, he was thinking back to the memories he had in this house.
He remembered everything from the first day he moved in and the day he first brought Jaeger home as a puppy to the day he first brought Gionna back.
He had a smile on his face as he was looking forward to the new memories he could make with the love of his life.
He then remembered that he hid a box of keepsakes above the wardrobe that included the last letter that his biological father ever wrote for him.
He went upstairs to the empty bedroom and saw that Gionna was looking around.
Gionna turned around to see that Adam had come upstairs and she smiled at him.

Gionna: everything okay baby ?

Adam: yeah, I've just come upstairs to get something that I'd hid up on the wardrobe.

Gionna: what is it if you don't mind me asking ?

Adam: it's just some keepsakes, you can look at them later if you want.
