The Beast

After walking around the forest for about an hour, the boys eventually gave up hope and knew that they had lost Noah. However, when they tried getting back to camp, they realized that they were lost.

"Just great! How are we gonna get back there now?" Asked Cody. "I'm not sure, I guess we're gonna have to choose a random direction and head that way." Said Ivan.

Little did they know, they had fallen into a trap.

Suddenly, a giant truck pulled up infront of them, and several animals leaped out of the truck including a male rabbit, a male wolf, a female snow leopard, and a male jaguar.

They were quickly pounced down and tied up. Then, the leader, who was also a male wolf, stepped out of the truck. "Well, Well, Well, what do we have here? A couple of escapees don't we? You thought you were slick, and fell right into our trap. We've also been tracking your every movement and know where your friends are, and soon enough we'll be rid of you all for good. And by the way Cody, you can say goodbye to what you and your sister used to be and accept the rise of the planet of the anthros." Said the wolf.

Cody was completely enraged and tried with all his might to fight back, but it was no use at all. "Now let's go back and see all of your friends for the last time." Said the wolf as he and his soldiers rounded up the three boys, leaving them done for.

All three of them had lost hope and didn't want to accept defeat, it would be all their fault if they had led the animals back to the other survivors, and once they were loaded into the truck and began driving off, they knew it was game over for all of them.

Cody thought they had lost, but suddenly, a loud howl could be heard in the distance. To their right, was what looked like a wolf standing atop a large rock sticking out of the ground. It had something strange on its back which couldn't be identified from a distance, but they could all see its eyes beaming with red.

Suddenly, the wolf leaped up from the rock and jumped up on top of the front of the truck and clamped its jaws down on the leader's neck and twisted it, killing him. The Jaguar then began to pull out his gun to shoot at the wolf, but the giant object on the wolf's back lifted itself off and clamped down on the Jaguar's head. The object turned out to be some sort of hydraulic claw.

The other anthros began to try and sprint away from the area but most of them wouldn't make it very far. The rabbit was brutally ripped apart with the wolf's teeth, claws and its hydraulic weapon. The other male wolf turned around to shoot it but it was to no avail as the second he had loaded his gun and turned around, the hydraulic claw had stabbed him through the chest and heart.

The snow leopard desperately tried to run away, but she could only make it so far before the wolf pounced on top of her. "No! No! Please! Have mercy!" She screamed.

However, instead of killing its prey, the wolf spoke up. "I'll let you run, but don't ever think of coming back to attack us every again. If I ever see your cowardly face again, mine will be the last thing you ever see. Now get the hell out of here before I change my mind." It said in a demonic tone.

The feline wasted no time in getting up and running away as fast as she possibly could. The three boys were in complete shock at the wolf that had saved them. "Will you marry me?" Asked Oliver, who at the moment seemed rather delusional of what had happened.

"Dude, are you serious?" Asked Ivan ", that wolf just saved us and that's the first thing you're gonna ask him? It's like you went on drugs or something!"

"Correction: it's her." Said the wolf as its eyes had changed color to yellow in one and blue in the other. Upon a closer look, she was completely covered in dark green fur and somehow looked about 12 years old despite her sense of maturity. Ivan then felt embarrassed. "Uhhh, sorry miss, or whatever your name is." He said nervously. ", also please don't hurt us."

The wolf just scoffed that response off as she then began to rip up the ropes and chains that held the boys together, freeing them. "I've been following you for a couple days now and one look on your faces, none of you are bad humans. As for my name, as far as my memory goes, I could recall being known as "The Beast" or "1006" but I don't care if you rename me or something like that." She said.

"Well what about something like Kate, I feel like it suits you." Said Cody. "You know what? That's a pretty good idea. You can call me Kate." She said.

"Also, would you mind leading us back to our base of you happen to know where it is please?" Asked Oliver. "Sure why not? Because being a tracker, I can lead you three back by smell since I can literally smell that diesel's fuel from a mile away." Said Kate. "Also one more question, where did you get that claw attached to your back?" Asked Cody.

"Don't know, Don't care, it's best that I'm grateful I have this as a weapon." Said Kate.

Soon enough, all four of them were on their way. Thanks to Kate's sharp senses, it only took them about half an hour to make it back to their camp. The boys then tried to hide Kate as they knew the other survivors would freak out at the sight of her.

However, once Kate and Ivan fell asleep, Jenny and Todd caught them. "Ok so what are you guys doing with a wolf that had a some sort of machinery on its back?" Asked Jenny.

Oliver and Cody had to explain everything to them, but then Cody got a suspicious feeling. "Wait a minute, what did the creature from 2 nights ago look like?" Asked Cody. "It was mostly white but the spider legs and the scorpion stinger were red as if they were appendages that just burst out of the body so unless that thing is a shapeshifter, it couldn't be that wolf-... or well Kate in disguise. But I still don't know if we should keep her around." Said Todd.

"Well, she did pretty much save us all so she might be trustworthy." Said Oliver.

"Well, can't argue with that. I just hope that nobody overreacts with her being here." Said Todd.
