Chapter Thirteen [I'll help stitch up your wounds]

There are oddly domestic.

Zayn sort of makes himself at home with Liam and Louis, they all lounge about and Zayn offers to order take out all of the time (pleases Louis entirely, use to have to beg Liam to get it) They don't have any problems spending time together. Niall half expects for Zayn to get sick of them, he knows that at time he does, so it's only natural that Zayn does the same. He doesn't.

Sometimes when Niall is half awake and Zayn slips from his bed, he gets worried that all of this is overwhelming to him. That Zayn is ready to leave, just as Harry did. But Zayn always comes back. Usually with a glass of water for Niall and his scent mixed with nicotine. Niall sits up, taking a sip of his water as Zayn gets back into bed, he then places a kiss on his forehead and soft whisper of "I love you."

When they aren't at home, they are always doing something. Whether it be hanging out at the cemetery or just going to run errands. Having Zayn with him makes the harder things in life not so hard. And one hundred percent of the time, Niall is sure that he isn't good enough for him.

"Tell me that you've sneaked snacks into the theater." Niall gapes at Zayn, who simply shrugs his shoulders. "Can't say that I have, after all, it is wrong Niall Horan." Niall grins, squishing the McDonald's bag as he holds it tightly in his jumper. "Nothing wrong with wanting a Mcdouble at the theater, just trying to watch my film."

Zayn shakes his head fondly, intertwining their fingers. "Just try not to squish the fries.." Zayn smirks, looking at Niall who tries his best to act causal giving his ticket to the 'not so happy' teenage boy. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll make sure they don't turn back into potatoes."

Zayn chuckles loudly, throwing his head back, clutching Niall tightly. "That doesn't even make sense babe." Niall simply shrugs his shoulders, continuing to tug Zayn down the hall to where the film is located.

"You have no idea how far my hatred for this game goes, Liam Payne." Louis growls, moving his monopoly piece onto the property that belongs to Liam. Liam does this sort of goofy face that makes Niall so utterly proud that they're his friends.

Louis reluctantly pays Liam the money he owes before turning to Zayn, who is still far from winning the game.

"Alright Malik- Let's see what you've got." Niall smirks, watching as Zayn focuses hard enough that his eyebrows furrow together in a manor that can only be described as adorable. He throws the dice, watching as it lands on double three's. Zayn puts his head in his hands shaking his head. "No! I'm in jail again!" He groans, moving his piece to the spot on the board.

"It's okay babe, I'm sure you look lovely in a orange jump suit." Niall kisses his cheek sloppily before rolling the dice himself.

Liam ends up wining the game which is totally unfair because Niall swears that he had more money then before. He didn't buy any other properties then the ones he had.

When they put the game away, Niall turns to Zayn who oddly has his hands tucked into his jumper sleeve. Niall raises an eyebrow, before pulling Zayn by the drawstrings to meet his lips, smiling against them as Zayn giggles. Niall grips him tightly, licking inside of Zayn's mouth earning a groan from the older lad. Niall takes the chance to then tucks his hands into the sleeve, feeling around for a moment.

"Ah ha!" Niall pulls away holding the monopoly money in his hand, "I knew I was missing money!"

Niall shakes his head, the amount of yellow and blue paper utterly alarming. "Zayn you're such a cheater!" Niall giggles, trying to get away from Zayn who just wraps his arms around Niall, smiling brightly his tongue pressed to his teeth.

"I couldn't have you winning now can I?" Zayn smirks, grabbing the paper and throwing it at Niall, some of it actually gets caught into his hair, others float in the air for a moment before falling on the ground.

"Such a cheater." Niall whispers before pressing his lips to Zayn's.

Zayn nods in agreement, cupping Niall's cheek as he deepens the kiss, pressing the younger boy down onto the couch. Niall opens his legs for Zayn to lay between, pulling him down so that he can have more access.

They make out lazily for a while until their lips are swollen and red. Both with looks of breathlessness on their faces.

Liam and Louis eventually kick them out of the living room, hoping to watch some documentary about super heroes, Niall goes to his room assuming that Zayn is following along but when he turns around he realizes that Zayn is still on the couch, completely engrossed in the film.

"Babe..." Niall urges, whispering into Zayn's ear. "Come to bed with me."

Zayn nods, not turning his eyes away from the screen. "Ni, you should come watch this-" Niall groans, realizing that he won't be getting any of Zayn's attention for a bit. Niall may be better than pizza or cigarettes but when it comes to comic books and super heroes, he cannot compare.

Niall settles into Zayn's lap, pressing his head on his thigh, intertwining their fingers before turning to watch the movie.

It's late when it ends, so Zayn carries the sleepy boy to their bed. Tucking him under the duvet after he strips his clothing off. Zayn does the same before pulling Niall to his chest.

"I love you." Niall mumbles, looking up at Zayn with sleepy eyes. "I love you." Zayn answers easily, the words still don't seem to sink into Niall's head. The fact that someone like Zayn could love someone so broken as Niall is makes his head spin with fondness.

"I want to be with you forever." Niall says truthfully, his eyes are heavy but his heart seems to be open and ready to tell all. "I want us to play games and watch films- and go to the drug store together to buy cough drops like we do."

"Can we do that?" Niall asks, searching Zayn's eyes.

Zayn smiles brightly, nodding his head as his eyes begin to water, he then pecks Niall's forehead.

"Yeah we can."

It's so good to be back, I mean I never left but I thought that I would of sort of let you all have some time, considering.
