He leaned onto a wall, panting like he just ran a marathon. The classroom was only a few meters away but Latte really didn't want to walk any further. Sadly, he didn't have a choice. Trudging along the corridor and using the wall as a support, the teen could see the rest of his classmates entering the classroom and before he could even reach the door, he fell face first onto the ground.

A few students giggled at the sight or ignored him, Latte sat up to see the pink haired senior that he bumped into the other day.

"Watch where you're going first year." He gave Latte a rather disdainful look "Being a ditz isn't a good look for Pomefiore." And with that, he walked away.

The teen sat there dumbfounded. It's not his fault that he fell (Maybe), plus the guy wasn't even affected by it. With a huff, Latte gathered his things and entered the classroom. His bag hit the desk with a loud thump, he received a few stares but Latte was too pissed off to care.

Class started swiftly and..It was horribly boring to the point that he could fall asleep. Sure learning about potions and what ingredients to use for them was interesting but his fatigue was starting to get to him.

As he was about to fall asleep, Latte was jolted awake by a nudge to his shoulder from his seatmate.

"Mr. Gail, are you listening? I hope you aren't falling asleep on your first day!" Professor Crewel nagged.

Latte just shook his head. " No sir"

The professor didn't seem convinced. "If that's the case, could you please tell me the attributes of the Nerium oleander?"

...shit. Latte was a fan of flowers but it seems like that wasn't the case now, he couldn't even remember what it was.

Oleander, oleander...he's heard of that before. "Am I allowed to look at the book?"

"Go ahead"

He only needed the picture but where was it? The others' stares were starting to get annoying.

"It's on page 13 on the bottom left," his seatmate whispered.

Latte would have to thank him later as he stared at the pink petaled flower. The flower was poisonous which could cause many lethal effects. The teen recited the symptoms and even a few bonus ones if it gave him a couple more points.

The professor seemed content with the answer before returning back to his lecture. Latte sighed in relief, leaning back against the backrest and glanced at his seatmate. His long dark hair was tied into a low ponytail with a few braids and gray eyes focused on whatever they had to learn now.

To Latte's surprise, the guy wasn't even wearing a vest but a dark red hoodie instead. How lucky. He couldn't see his sash clearly but from the gemstone of his pen, the other student was...In Scarabia? It was either that or Heartslabyul since that was the only other dorm with a red theme.
