Chapter 8

Y/n's POV

We're currently at the front door Bruno's room,both waiting for each other to unlock the door.

"I think you should open the door." Mirabel said while her hands cup on her cheeks and awkwardly stare at her tío's door.

I shake my head lightly, "Nah I think you should,it's your idea.Remember?" I told her while I'm still staring at the door.Even the front door looks creepy,what freaking else if we go inside?

She laughs nervously, "Oh did I?You know what we can do this at some other time,I mean I'm concerned but I don't want us to die sooner and besides we don't have a plan yet." she said as if rethinking her life decisions.

I sighed,I think she's right we don't have any plans yet and we don't even know what are we searching.

I nod to her and we decided to go to her room.As we enter her room,both of us sat on the chair and sighed.

"On another day,we're entering that room.We're gonna search the areas of his room and look for something—unusual.Then,we're going to keep it with us and figure what it is.I don't know what's inside Tío Bruno's room because the people in town and even my family don't talk about Bruno for some reasons I don't even know." She told me the plan and a rant.

I nodded, "Earlier,I heard from most people the event for tonight?I don't actually quite hear,but do you know what it is?" I asked her because I notice earlier when Camilo and I headed to their casita that people are talking about something about tonight,dancing,and foods.

She giggles, "We have a celebration for tonight!There's no specific celebration actually it's just an Encanto thing.We celebrate something for fun and we dance,eat,and sing!You should probably look for a clothes to wear for tonight and oh I'll ask Dolores to do your hair." she said excitedly.

I smiled and nodded, "That must be exciting huh?Oh Camilo said something about going to his room after we finished right?Shoot I better should be going.Let's meet at my house?" I asked as I stood up preparing myself to go.

"Yeah yeah go on,I'll meet you at five o'clock alright?" she assure me and I nodded as a sign of agreement.

I headed to the door to walk out from her room and currently headed to Camilo's room being careful that someone might see me.Especially their Abuela,I still feel kinda guilty about what happened.

I saw someone walking towards me but I can't see it clearly because the sun from her behind was making an against the sun but I can see that she has a muscular body.

She was now in front of me and she waved shyly, "Hello there,you might be Y/n.Right?from yesterday?wait am I correct?" she ask with an awkward smile.

I nodded with a laugh,"You're indeed correct,You must be the Luisa?" I ask back trying to make her comfortable.

She nodded softly, "Yeah,I heard a lot of stories from Mirabel and Camilo.I actually just have a glimpse of you yesterday because I'm guarding the donkeys after the picture thing.Oh also tonight,lets dance?But no no not the romantic one I uh well the friendly dance one." she said while fixing her long blue skirt.

I laugh, "Sure!I would love too.I will ask Camilo to help me cook arepas!He's good at making one." I said and Luisa's eye was now filled with surprise.
