Part 11- The Third Wheel.

Lewis: Hello x

He replied,Me awkwardly shifting in my chair.

"What's wrong?"Mel asked

"T-this is the first time I've mailed a boy" I explain,And instead of getting a lecture about needing to grow up,Mel leans across the table and delicately whispers into my ear.

"Me too. Don't be worried,Its okay,Just...Be you" She assures.

I nod shyly and turn on my phone.

Quickly tapping on the screen.

Me: I'm Mel's Cousin,She told me about you So I decided to mail you x

and withing a click of my fingers,My phone vibrates,Me happily,and giddily unlocking it to reply.

Lewis: Oh Cool :) You Okay Emily?x

He said my name,I stare at my phone for longer than I should've,before I realise I don't even know who he is,Ive Not even seen him around school.

Me: Yeah Thank You,You?x

I reply awkwardly. Me and Mel both glued to our phones not speaking.

Lewis: Me too Thanks,And Good x

Unthinkingly,I show Mel the messages before she demands to see them.

As soon as she's skimmed through them all,I text back.

Me: I don't think I've seen your around school,Your profile picture doesn't look familiar x

I notice,Glaring at the face,a handsome face. THE BEAUTIFUL FACE! But don't say anything. Top secret. I think to myself.

He was the guy with the heavenly gave,The one I caught staring at Mel.

It all adds us,And before I can carry on with that thought,He replies.

Lewis: Yeah, I know I don't think I've noticed you before! X

Of course he wouldn't of noticed me,I think rolling my eyes,And praying that I did not just say that aloud.

Me: Yeah Haha,So what's going on with you and Mel?x

I quickly type,Changing the conversation till I blurt out unessasary things.

Lewis: Has she told you about Georgia? Did she say she likes me?x

He asked,quickly scurrying for answers. For some reason,this kind of upset me,triggering a lump to form in my throat.

Me: She hasn't said she likes you,No sorry. But yeah she told me about Georgia,Isn't it awkward,Has she found out?:)x

I quickly typed. Mel flew her phone on the table,Without unlocking it,straight away the three dots appeared showing he was typing,but that wasn't the main thing that caught my eye,It was the three rows of kisses they were putting to each other along with the heart and kissy face Emojis,And when you looked at our messages,It had one kiss.

One single,boring,lonely kiss.

That's all.

Calm down Emily,You've spoken to him for all of five minutes,He's not going to love you,And you don't want him too,You're job is to get him with Mel,so they can be happy.

For what seems like ages,My phone finally buzzes against the wooden table.

Lewis:Oh... Will you help? I really like her and it would mean alot if you did,But yeah Georgia knows we talk,As 'best friends' supposedly, When really I like her,Im not sure how to tell her that through,meaning both Georgia and Mel:(x

He explains,Crushing my soul to the ground the way he talks about her,Completely destroying my ego.

Me: Sure I'll help,And Okay,First of all you'll have to tell Georgia other wise you won't get any where with her.x

I place my phone on the table,for Seconds later,To buzz,Mel looks at me gone out,As if she's jealous.

Lewis:Thanks:) And Okay,We're all going out soon if you would like to come. Meaning Me,You,Mel,Brad Hunter,From your primary and Cameron Nicholas,From mine.x

I realise I'm seeing his messages straight away,and looking a total idiot,So I give it a few seconds before I reply,Not able to wait any longer as my finger nails are already chewed to the bottom.

Me: Okay,Sounds good,I'll get all the details from Mel,Thank Youx

After a few moments of hard thinking I realise he's on about Cameron who sits next to me,Which makes me happy,I'll look more popular than Mel,Because I already know him,That's a first.

By now its about 10:55pm and we're heading off home,As soon as I get in I run to my room, Plugging in my phone charger,Relief washing over me as soon as the charging noise bleeps.

Lewis:Its okay Emily,Can I just say,I don't even know you hahah x

I giggle to myself,Sat on my bed,reading the cute yet funny message.

Me: Funny,because I have no idea who you are either,When we all go out we can meet.x

I reply almost instantly.

Lewis:Yeah sure,Anyways,Its been nice talking to you,And hopefully we can talk tomorrow,Thank you for helping me with Mel and things,I appreciate it a lot. Its going to be weird going to school not knowing which girl I've mailed,I don't even know you from your profile picture. Haha,I'm off to Sleep,Night x

Awh,I think to myself.

Me:We will definitely be speaking tomorrow haha,And no problem,I'll always help ya if you need me. And yep very weird,I'll be looking out for you. Night Lewis x

He views the message and no reply.

I place my head comfortably on the pillow and close my eyes,with a grin sprawling across my face.
