Forever And Ever.

Pals.

My heart seems to hitch up to one hundred miles per hour,Slowly I feel my face start to blush.

I notice my legs rushing up the path way to the main building,Watching as the p.e block fades with the smooth clouds that hover over the low skyline.

I race up to the dinner hall,Slowing as I notice my tongue starting to poke out due to the amount of concentration I'm putting into getting to the hall first.

I'm not shy,Not at all,Mel's told me numerous times in Vmg how she darent speak to him in person,How she's afraid of ruining her chances. That's where we're different,I can't wait to talk to him, taking our friend ship to a whole other level.

I take a seats on one of the four seated tables,tucking my bag under the table and patiently waiting for Mel,Ken and Imo.

moments of day dreaming fill up a few minutes before I hear metal hitting the table,My eyes flicker open and Kennedy sits opposite me.

"They're getting food" she says bluntly,resting her head on her hand which is casually leant on the table.

Silence drags as my eyes scan the room for unfamiliar faces making there way over to me.

I give up after a while,Listening to Mel's giggles and imogens hums of laughter.

I mainly focus on the rumbling of my belly.

Eventually plates are cleared and trays are taken to the rack which the dinner ladies take to the kitchen to be to some extent cleaned (so they say)

My eyes peel the room ,as soon as I stand up from my seat.
I should've guessed,Nobody even looking asif they're heading my way,We head out the door to the outisde area,Where we stand in a square,acting as if were talking when really non of us are paying any attention to one another.

Dinner passes quickly and the bell goes off,Heading down the corridor an eerie tension fills the air.

I watch Mel's face grow paler, I notice a tall lean figure stride perfectly toward us.

Soft fingers tap my back three times before I turn around with a grin widening on my face.

"Uh Hey,I'm Lewis." He says smiling,revealing his straight teeth,His hair blonde,With tinges of brown and quiffed high on his head. His eyes so blue I could look into them all day,And still be confused whether they are so blue that they're black,His long lashes fitting around his eyes perfectly,Creating a dark ring around his eyes,His freckles dotting his small nose perfectly,Fitting his gorgeous face. His lips,plump and big,A light shade of pink but a dark shade around them,the corners chapped as he licks them under my endless staring.

I receive all this information within seconds of me dazing at him.
The beautiful face.

"I-im Emily." I grin confidently,Wondering what's going through his brain too.

"Are you coming out Friday?" He asked leaning in closer to my ear so my friends couldn't hear,I noticed Mel stepping away every time he spoke, she was worride to be near him,They didn't make eye  contact once, she just looked away,His eyes would follow her movements,Asif he was protecting her under the trance of his irises.

I knew he came to speak to Mel too,Probably using me as an excuse,I notice his cheeks turn a deep shade of red which made me giggle inside. His face grew red,His cheeks fitting perfectly around his cheek bone.

"Um yeah sure." I grinned politely. "You'll have to give me all the details."

"I will." He nodded,looking over at a tall,muscular,greasy haired boy who smiled,His cute lips forming a gentle smile.

He looked at me once more before scanning my eyes.

I nodded in approval,I could tell he wanted to know whether he could go to his friend.

I just met Lewis Henderson. The gorgeous face.

He was undeniably beautiful and I was so confident in front of him,I was proud to be me.

The last hour passed without a moment of my hyper,Insane feeling dying down,I was so electrified by what had happened.

As soon as I got home I was straight onto mailing him.

Me: Hiiii xxxxxxx

Instantly I get a message back.

Lewis: we spoke xxxxxxx

I could hear his voice through the message,Imagining how he sounded.

Me: I know,I couldn't believe it,I'm so happy,Why didn't Mel talk to you?xxxxxxx

This question had been on my mind since we spoke and Mel shied away.

Lewis: you tell me...xxxxxxx

Instantly I reply with...

Me:I would if I knew xxxxxxx

We'd been up, talking for at least 3 more hours,my eyes closing and my head resting on the pillow every second till the vibrations of my phone make me jump to life.

I sigh at my message,Realising that it's nearly 11 and my mum would kill me if she found out I'd been up later than 12.

Lewis:Emily...I like you alot you know,And Mel is my so called 'Bestie' but I don't want to leave you out,So wanna be 'pals' xxxxxxx

He puts with numerous laughing faces.

Me: sure why not Lewis pal,Maybe we could work up to being besties xxxxxxx

Lewis:Maybe, And Um Emily...Could you help me with mel?xxxxxxx

As soon as I unlock my phone to see this message a lump gathers in my throat and my heart swells. I want to talk about us being pals,As much as I want to help you,I want our own conversations.

Me: Yup xxxxxxx

I decide to lock my phone and shut my eyes waiting for the buzzing to send a shock wave through my system,And seconds later it does
Lewis:When do I finish Georgia?xxxxxxx

This takes me back,I weigh out my options. Mel doesn't fully like him yet and if he's satisfied with Georgia he could stay with her,See how things go on Friday and decide till then.

Me: well if things dont work with mel,You could still be with Georgia if you like her,So just wait and see how things go on Friday xxxxxxx

Happy with my reply,I wait for Lewis to answer.

Lewis: Thanks,I'm tired now,I'll talk tomorrow yeah?xxxxxxx

I sigh in relief,I didn't want to be the first to want to go to sleep,And happy that he's ready for bed I put my head on the pillow too,Typing my final message.

Me: Same,Night Pal,See you tomorrow xxxxxxxx

Ending with 8 kisses.

Lewis: Night pal xxxxxxxx

8 kisses back.

Smiling happily,my head meets the pillow,bringing my thoughts to Lewis.
