Forever And Ever.

Part 13- Which Break?

After waking up to white skies,and getting ready whilst squinting at my mirror,I realise I have a few extra minutes to do what I like,And being me,I check my phone.

Lewis sent a message.

I almost jump up and down in excitement,Dying to open the mail.

Lewis:Morning:)) Just wanted to tell you that I know who you are now,And I'll come and talk to you at school today now I know what you look like hahah,Have a good day xxxxxxx

He knows who I am.

Excitement

Fear

Self esteem

All these rise,I rush to my desk without replying,Smacking more makeup on and running down the stairs,grabbing my bag and running out the door for fresh air.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

My head swirls In circles,unable to focus on one object,I set my mind on a task,To reach Jades house without falling over.

I successfully manage to reach jades front door,Gripping onto the Handel,She swings the door open,Me almost flying through the air.

"Hey" she grins,On time for once.

"Hello." I reply,walking away to the next door house which Mel lives at.

Her dad/My uncle opens the door to us.

"Ey up guys,she's coming now,she won't be a minute." He says,heading to the kitchen storing his delicious curry,Making my belly yearn.

He cooks meals so early.

Mel comes bounding down the stairs,Her bag on her shoulder and ready to go.

We arrive at school quicker than I'd expected.

I still find it strange to be in this new building,A new school and a clean slate.

The smell of the warm toast dances on my tongue,Almost pulling me towards it.

The bell takes ages until it finally rings,And when it does,Mel and I notice Imogen and Kennedy running towards us not wanting to get stuck behind all the older year groups.

Classes go by quicker than I'd expected too. Ng however managing to drag.

The first two hours of the day complete,Now I'm heading off to Vmg,And still no lecture from Mel yet. This could be my moment to want to die.

I take slow steps to Vmg,Not wanting to get there too quick,Before Mel does. I try to think of a good conversation to pick up so she doesn't mention it,
So I can distract her enough.

I reach the door and walk in to a full class,all looking rather tired. Today is one of them days that nobody can be bothered with. Well obviously,Its a Monday.

I pull out my chair,forgetting my conversation starter and just fiddle with a strand of blonde hair.

"So how's you and Lewis then?" Mel asks,Raising her eyebrow. Oh god. She knows.

"I've been speaking to him all weekend,He's lovely,and he likes you a lot. I hope you aren't bothered that I've been speaking to him too,It's not in the same way." I giggle at the end to approve of my words.

I watch her face,Scrutinising every detail.

She grunts and her eyebrows raise,A twang of jealousy strikes through her solid body. Her eyes give me the deadliest look.

"Oh...I don't know if I like him too,And no I'm not bothered if you speak to him,He's nice isn't he."she says.
An unexpected reply.

I grin back and ask her the same question about her and lewis.

"Well he really does like me,And he calls me gorgeous and he tells me he loves me and him and Georgia are always arguing,But I think Thursday or Friday we're meeting,Come if you like. They'll be a lot of us." She implies.

Giving me the hint that she's nervous and doesn't want to go by herself.

I nod eagerly,He'll definitely know me then.

The bell rings just in time and we all pick up our bags and put them over our shoulder exiting the room.

Once in the cafeteria for break,Mel and I sit awkwardly for a moment.

Our breaks are separated,Each Vmg has a country name,Ours being Australia,And The continents of each country are grouped into two groups, one set going on first break,So whilst we are in Vmg they are on break and they other group in Vmg whilst they are on break,So Mel and I have second break,So whilst we're on break,The other group are sat bored in their Vmg class room.

"Is Lewis on this break?" I blurt out without thinking.

Hopefully Mel doesn't think too much about my question,and the fact that I'm still thinking about him.

"No,He's on first break!" She grunts,Noticing my eyes scanning the room for anyone approaching me.

"Oh." I let my head fall to the table,Unfortunately Imogen and Kennedy aren't here to keep the conversation flowing like they should be,so its rather awkward,Its weird with Mel because when I'm with her hardly anyone else matters,And we have that kind of relationship where we can laugh with an ugly face and not care about how ugly we are.

We just don't care.

Break fly's by as people join our table and break the unusual quietness.

An hour of boring p.e which seems to drag as my leg hairs stand up on the goose bumps which make my legs look like grassy hills. My hands stayed glued to my arms warming them up whilst we stand outside in the freezing weather.

Whenever I try to put effort into p.e Mel,Imogen and Kennedy find it funny to take the piss out of me. Leaving me standing,shivering like them,Looking lazy.

Through out all of the lesson I stand and stare at the group of sporty girls which are never criticised for being active,and they're the teachers pet,And their bodies are gorgeous and they look really good whilst jogging across the pitch.

Whilst I'm here,Pretending to be a lazy bitch with my so called friends,Who clearly want me to be myself.

Thankfully,Dinner comes round the corner quicker than expected and whilst changing for p.e I spray my perfume,brush through my hair and make sure I look okay for my first meeting with Lewis.
