A/N: Drawing of Hotaru by DumbStuffWithAHat

It was another morning, another weekday, another school day. Bakugou was ready in his suit struggling with not only his own bag but a smaller, green bag his daughter specifically picked out herself, "Hotaru, go put your shoes on and wait at the door."

Hotaru, the poor brown haired five year old, dragged her feet to the door to get her shoes. She hated getting up the morning, at least she got to nap in the car and at school.

"Alright, here you go.", Bakugou says handing her bag over to her before rummaging around in his pocket, "And here a little present."

Her eyes immediately lit up, a bright smile growing across her face, "The- the new-! Thank you Dada!"

She hugged the new Pro Hero Deku plushie she had received, he was her favourite. He was strong and kind and green, her absolute favourite colour, if only she could meet him.

Hotaru was over the moon, "Lets go, lets go! I wanna show my friends!"

"Alright but don't lose it.", Bakugou unlocked the door and Hotaru was immediately out the door, skipping happily to the car. It was unfathomable to Bakugou, though he didn't question her sudden burst of hyperness. It was simply too early in the morning to question anything.

He remembered back to when he was jumping for joy over a few of his favourite heroes merch. Like when you'd rip open the trading cards hoping you got who you wanted, pulling it out with your eyes squeezed shut, praying. When he got All Mights limited edition card his heart had practically melted, his whole soul had been lifted. Now even the slight mention of All Might and the children nowadays only know him as the former number one.

It made him feel old despite only being 22.

Speaking of old, Endeavour the current number one should be retiring soon. Thank god for that. Bakugou wasn't all too fond of him. Like ever.

"Oh oh, Dada play the song. The song!", Hotaru bounced up and down in her seat as much as she could. The song, of course, the one she makes him play in the car, or while she's getting ready in the morning, or when she's having a bath. Bakugou could practically recite the entire thing word for word, instrumentals included. Each time without fail he'd put it on for her.

As they pulled up outside of her school, her seatbelt was already off. She scooted towards the door, "Do you want me to go with you?"

"Hm, no I'm fine! Bye-bye!", Hotaru had already left before Bakugou had even begun to say a word. He could only let out a long sigh, watching his daughter frantically run up to her friends beaming with excitement.

As he pulled out, he switched to the radio. It was only to fill in the silence that loomed over his car when Hotaru left. There was nothing more frustrating than that.

It was boring. Hotaru was the only person that he actually spoke to. All his colleagues ignored him unless they needed something. Like for him to do their work while they all gossiped about the latest news on heroes or other people within the department they hated. Like Bakugou himself.

"The search for the missing omegas are still on the rise as more omegas are being reported missing. Pro Hero Deku and Red Riot will be taking over from the police. . . "

Bakugou rolled his eyes, turning the radio off and pulling into the dreaded parking lot of his mundane office building.

No one would be excited to work in a place like that. Sure, the logo was all fancy and the decorations inside were more than okay. All he did was sit in his little box at a desk, staring all day long at a screen. Occasionally, he'd get up to wander to get a drink or to hand in some completed work he didn't bother putting any effort into.
