The weekend went by oddly quickly, it had Hotaru crying as they left for the car. She adored Inko that much. It wasn't long before she passed out in the back from all the wailing she had done a few minutes prior. Bakugou was quick to follow suit of her - practically exhausted from social interaction that of which he never really liked nor did much of in the first place. Midoriya was the only one that stayed awake, naturally because he was driving. His house being closer, he took them there instead of driving all the way to Bakugou's. There was much more room, granted it was also an apartment though it was much fancier than what the blonde had, instead of stairs to each floor it was a lift. Unfortunately, he did have to wake Bakugou up but Hotaru was fast asleep and clearly not waking up any time soon.
Why they waited until nine at night to go back he'll never know.
He nudged the blonde slightly, that was enough to stir him from his rest, "What..."
"My place is closer so... I took you both here instead- if you don't mind.", Midoriya smiled keeping his voice low and quiet.
"Whatever.", Bakugou looked from the car window, there was just a parking lot. A dark one. Barely any lights for what he assumed would be a fancy place. Though a sign told him they were only in need of being fixed so he did not assume the worst. It was always fun to think about whether there was something lurking in the dark and whether or not his life would come to end. To pass the time obviously.
They got out of the car and the belongings they took with them, they left apart from clothes for Hotaru. Bakugou was too lazy to carry anything but his own child so whatever was left Midoriya took and obviously led the way to his apartment on, what Bakugou thought, was the billionth floor. It was only on the twentieth. Eventually putting Hotaru into Midoriya's spare bedroom for them to lounge about in the living space. Majority of the time, they sat in silence as Midoriya flicked through different television channels to find out everything on both of them had seen or sounded too boring to even consider watching.
"Hey...uhm- the reunion thing is Wednesday.", Midoriya started though Bakugou immediately piped up,
"Forgot about that. Where is it?"
"Oh I can take you, it's fine but- do you have anything to wear for it? You coming is supposed to be a surprise for the others but if you need anything we can go out and buy something. I'm off this whole week.", Midoriya turned to face the blonde directly, looking at his face was more compelling than whatever soulless program was on. His eyes met the red ones already looking at him - a strange but thrilling feeling accompanied him as is brain fuddled.
"I'm not though."
"Then ask.", it was only natural he wanted to spend time with his lover, it was annoying that work got in the way.
"I have a rent to pay."
"I'll pay for it.", he insisted, moving himself closer to the other, "I'll pay for everything."
"I'll ask for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off but you're not paying for shit.", with that beamed joy from Midoriya who attacked Bakugou with a hug. The blonde had no choice but to let himself be subjected to that and Midoriya's face nuzzling into his hair.
"Can I at least pay when we go out?"
"We are going out."
"No- thats not what I me-"
"No? So we're not going out?", Bakugou raised an eyebrow before scoffing and playfully smirking as he moved away from the other, "That sucks, you can't hold me like this if we're not. You gotta let go."
Midoriya whined like an upset child, wriggling as he tried to keep the blonde from escaping, "Kacchannnn"
Bakugou's escape was successful, though Midoriya was quick to get up and chase after him. He lost him not long after to the darkness of the hallway. He looked high and low for the blonde and found practically nothing. Then a pair hands covered his eyes. It was easy to tell they were Bakugou's from how warm and sweaty they were.
