Once Upon A Dream

Chapter 3

"And so, for 16 long years, the whereabouts of the princess remained a mystery. While deep in the forest in a woodcutter's cottage, the good fairies carried out their well-laid plan. Living like mortals they had reared the child as their own, and called her Rose."

A much older Y/n opened her window as she hummed a tune, and she cleaned the frame of the window with a rag.

"On her 16th birthday, the good fairies had planned a party. And something extra special for a surprise."

Down stairs the three fairies looked down at an open book with dresses in it.

"Well, how about this one?" Mina asked, and she pointed at a dress.

"This is the one I picked." Momo said.

"Oh, she'll look beautiful in that." Ochako giggled.

"Now, I thought of a few changes here."

"Don't forget a pretty bow." Ochako added.

"Yes, and raise the shoulder line." Momo said.

"We have to make it (F/c)." Mina giggled and started to name the different kinds of (F/c).

"Oh, no, dear, pink." Momo interrupted.

"But-"

"Of course, we need a few pleats." Momo said.

"Yes, but how are we gonna get her out of the house?" Mina asked.

"I'll think of something." Momo giggled and the others joined in.

"What are you guys giggling at?" Y/n's voice said, and the three ladies gasped and covered up their plans.

"Uh."

"We, uh."

"Uh," Momo said and started to stammer. "Well, well, we-"

"We want you to pick some berries." Mina said, as she held a basket to Y/n.

"That's it! Berries!" Momo nodded in agreement.

"Berries?" Y/n questioned, as Momo and Ochako started to push her to the door.

"Lots of berries." Ochako said.

"But I picked berries yesterday." Y/n said, Mina put a scarf around her neck and head.

"Oh, we need more, dear." Momo said, as they shoved Y/n outside and closed the bottom door.

"Lots, lots more." Ochako added.

"Yes." Momo giggled. Y/n looked at them knowingly and started to walk towards the forest. "Now, don't hurry back, dear."

"But don't go too far." Mina added.

"And don't speak to strangers." Momo said.

"Goodbye, dear." Ochako added.

"Goodbye, Rose."

"Goodbye,"

"Goodbye." Y/n waved to them and went into the forest.

"I wonder if she suspects." Mina thought out loud.

"Of course not. Come one." Momo said and ran inside. "She is going to be so surprised."

"A real birthday party." Mina laughed.

"With a real birthday cake." Ochako giggled as she got a cookbook.

"Yes, and a dress a princess can be proud of." Momo said as she got a bunch of different fabrics.
