Chapter 4

3rd Person:

"I-uhm hello?.." You said hesitantly to the blue eyed boy. His face look like he didn't care what I said what so ever.

"Are you..my partner for this mission?.." You asked. The boy looked down a bit then looked back at you.

He shrugged.

Well..that didn't help.

"U-uhm.." You sweat dropped. You were getting nervous because you didn't know if he could hear you or not.

'Is he deaf?...is he..uh...can he not speak..?'

"W-well uhm..do you have a name?" You asked the confused boy.

"I don't..remember.."

Welp. That wasn't much help.

'His memories might be fuzzy then..really fuzzy if he doesn't even remember his own name..'

"Well I am Y/n L/n! It's nice to meet you..." You we're gonna say his name but you remember that he doesn't remember his own name.

"We should get going!" You exclaimed.

He then started walking ahead of you in the wrong direction.

"Hey! Uh.. your going the wrong way!" Of course he didn't respond.

"Listen! I don't want to be rude but uhm..please we were told to go this way!.." You exclaimed more. This time he stopped in his tracks. He looked over his shoulder to look at you.

"This way is easier.." Was the only thing he said before continuing on walking.

You decided to just go his way.

"So...do you know anything about this mission?.." You asked the boy.

He turned his focus towards you.

"Sort of." He said, before facing front again.

"Well..let's do our best!" You pumped up. He only glanced at you and you took that as a positive answer.

The two of you finally arrived at a large village. It looked like a mess. Literally.

Their was a big festival going on but a lot of people were drunk. A bunch of randomness happening it was so, odd.

The boy then started to walk through the crowd.

"H-hey wait up!" You yelled after him. The two of you managed to get through the mess and chaos of the main area.

"There." The boy pointed at the top of a house.

There was something or someone with an instrument. It sounded like a shamisen. (Not nakime)

(Yes this is the actual sound of a Japanese instrument. A shamisen. This video is half an hour but just an idea of music)

The demon had a scandalous face expression. It looked down on the people and start to play faster.

The two of you noticed that the demon was putting people to sleep who were in darker parts of the large village. Vulnerable people who were drunk alone in alley ways.

That's most likely how they would take their food. It had to be stopped.

"Go!" The boy shouted and ran left jumping on rooftops while eyeing the demon.

"EH?!? Uhm! Ok!" You ran the opposite direction and noticed mist appearing around the area where the demon was.

"What is this..it's blocking my view!" The demon screamed. You managed to get a top the rooftop where the demon was.

It instantly noticed your presence and used the shamisen to make a visible slash that was aiming for you. You quickly ducked down and safely dodged it.

Now it's your turn.

WIND BREATHING! SECOND FORM: CLAWS PURIFYING WIND!

You dashed recklessly and fast aiming directly at the demon. The demon jumped up and struck the shamisen multiple times aiming at you.

Blood demon art! Rapid string attack!

The demon mumbled. You managed to dodge some of the attacks.

FOURTH FOR! RISING DUST STORM!

You used that form to deflect the rest of the attacks.

Without noticing though you fell off the roof.

"AHH!!..!" You were too frightened that you couldn't focus on trying to stop falling.

Suddenly you were taken away from falling and in the arms of someone else.

You looked up to see the boy again.

"Hey!" You exclaimed.

He dropped you down on a rooftop of a house.

"I'll deal with this.." He said.

'Thank goodness..' You were safe.

You saw how the boy ran in multiple directions to confuse the demon and used the same mist again to kill off the demon.

"GAH!" You heard the screams of the demon and saw it disintegrate.

"Wow.." Without noticing you saw the boy right next to you.

"Thanks to you. I became a Hashira." The boy said. What?!

"A Hashira!?" You questioned. He nodded.

"This was the 50th demon I've defeated. Now I'm a Hashira." He jumped off the building and started to walk out of the village.

You caught up with him and began asking him many questions.

"Oh come on! Your really gonna be a Hashira!? Well it's such an honor to know!!" You were rambling about random stuff when he stopped.

"Eh?.." You were confused why he stopped walking all of a sudden.

"I remember my name now." He said.

"REALLY?" You asked.He nodded. Your face lit up.

"Muichiro. Muichiro Tokito."
