Griffin's POV

I looked outside as I heard a car pulling up, grabbing my umbrella to go get Y/N so she wouldn't get drenched in the rain.

"Y/N! You look beautiful, dear!" I said over the downpour, quickly walking her to the front door.

"Why, thank you, Griff Griff" She smiled as I opened it for her, leaving the umbrella outside. I led her into the living room where the food was awaiting us.

"This is so lovely, Griffin. I knew you were in love with me," She said as she took in all of the foods I had rushed to make before neatly decorating the house. I was about to tell her that it wasn't me that was in love when there was a knock at the door.

"I thought I was the only one? Don't tell me you've invited more secret lovers," She joked. I laughed before excusing myself to the door. I opened it to a completely drenched Rigo.

"I didn't have time to grab an umbrella, so I ran," He answered the unspoken question without looking down at me. I nodded, stepping aside for him to come inside.

"I don't know if I can do this," He whispered. "Rigo, it's Y/N. I don't know anything about your relationship, but I know her. She won't turn you away," I reassured him.

He sighed before nodding and stepping inside. I followed behind him into the living room where Y/N's back was turned to us. Rigo cleared his throat, Y/N turning around quickly. You could see the tears well up in her eyes as they stared at each other, no words needing to be spoken to understand how they both felt. Y/N quickly wiped away a tear that fell down her cheek.

"You're all wet," She smiled, breaking the silence. Rigo broke into a smile as well before taking a few long strides over to her, pulling her into his arms. It wasn't long before Y/N was crying into his chest.

"I'll give you guys some privacy," I said even though they weren't paying attention to me, walking out of the door with the umbrella to walk around the garden for a few minutes.

 Rigo's POV

"Don't cry, baby," I swayed us back and forth as she cried into my chest. "I'm just so happy," She squeaked out, sniffling a few times.I chuckled, pulling back to get a better look at her face.

"My, have you grown up to be such a beautiful young woman," I tilted her chin up with my finger.

She giggled before shaking her head. Her hands went up to my hair to run her fingers through the loose curls.

"Your hair has grown so much. You look a lot more manly than I remember."

"It has been five years, love."

"Still have that boyish grin though," She smiled causing me to chuckle once more.

"I've missed you so much," I cupped her cheek in my hand while pulling her close to me with the other.

"The pain was almost unbearable," I whispered. "Then you shouldn't have left me. Maybe then we both wouldn't have suffered as much," Her smile dropped a little.

"I'm sure it wasn't all that bad. You have that rich bastard of a husband. David, isn't it?"

"Don't speak poorly of him. He was there for me when you decided to up and leave and fight for a county you're not even from.

I told you I'd marry him if you left, and that's exactly what I did," She decided to take a step back from me.

"No, let's not talk about it. I don't want our first moment together again to be spent going back and forth," I pulled her back into my chest. She nodded and leaned back into me. I cupped her cheek once more to lean down.

"Rigo, I'm married. You know I can't do that to him, as much I want to," She whispered, her breath fanning my lips. I unwillingly pulled away from her before nodding.

"Okay, let's just talk," I walked with her hands in mine to Griffin's sofa and sat down with her. "Now, tell me everything I've missed over the past five years," I grinned at her.
