Fallon let out a frustrated grunt. She just couldn't sleep and as lay in bed she realised she had not checked if Rafe had a place to sleep. Not that she cared or anything, but she felt a pang of guilt thinking about how she had reacted when she saw him. She felt irratated and excited and angry all at once, which was understandable cause its not everyday a friend you spent so much time thinking about and hating and missing all at once just pop up and be like 'hey fallon i may have you have ghosted you for an entire year, but lets be friends'.
She decided that she'd go to the balcony and read for a bit. As she walked into her room balcony she realized that a tall figure was sitting on her lounge chair, but she figured it may have been Caleb from the other room's connecting balcony.
"Get up Timmy I'm reading" Fallon said
"who the fuck is Timmy "Rafe said as he turned to face her
A look of shock crossed her face, but she quickly disguised it with irritation. "what are you doing in my balcony you creep" Fallon questioned, a blank expression on her face
"I wanted some fresh air" he said cooly. God she wanted to slap him.
"well can you procure this fresh air somewhere else" Fallon said now getting frustrated. "no can't do young lady" Rafe said . He knew saying that would get her annoyed, and he was right.
"Don't call me that you pig"she said her irritation with the blonde now evident. "Well I'm not moving from this very comfortable chair, but you could sit on my lap" Rafe told her mischievously grinning at her.
God that smile, she had missed that smile she thought to herself, "I would rather jump off this balcony thank you very much" she said stubbornly, sitting on the other chair next to him.
For about half an hour no one spoke, awkward silence settling between the two. Finally Rafe said "you know I tried calling you every day after that internship" he said truthfully, looking at her. "Rafe if you did'nt want to talk to me after that you could have just told me, instead of being a cheap little bitch and ghosting me" Fallon said hurt clear in her voice.
"Fallon the only thing I wanted throught those two months was to talk to you" Rafe said looking at her. She turned away with a bitter scoff "yeah well after that you started ignoring me ,and became best friends with Leah, and just like that i was invisable to you" she said.
"I'm sorry Fallon and I just want to be friends"Rafe said still looking at her.
She scoffed "it's not going to be that easy, but I may consider not killing you" she said
"I think I can live with that, but does this mean we can hangout" Rafe asked.
Fallon thought about this and she immediately wanted to say yes, but she held back and cheekly said " maybe". And with that she got up and walked into her bathroom, locking the door behind her. "What's that supposed to mean" Rafe yelled after her, but she just chuckled and turned on her shower.
When she woke up in the morning she realized she had slept in till 9:30 that morning, which was extremely unusual for Fallon cause she was always up at the crack of dawn, getting ready for her morning workout. She got dressed in a pair of blue mom denim, a yellow sleeveless crop top and a white baseball cap. She put on usual pair of thin silver rings that Brooke had given her for her seventeenth birthday. As Fallon got closer to the kitchen, she heard sounds of laughter and conversations. What she walked in on, was a sight she thought she would never behold, at the kitchen counter Caleb stood flipping eggs with the widest grin on his face and next to him stood Sarah, trying to fry the bacon. She took a seat next to JJ on one of the tall barstools, and said "did everyone sleep well"? a couple of yes and no's were said to her and then everyone resumed back to their old conversations .
After everyone had eaten JJ came up to Fallon and thanked her for her hospitality.
And with that everyone including Sarah left to John B's house, they did invite her but she did not want to intrude, so she told Sarah that she would meet her at Kiera's restraunt that evening.
