Fallon had always liked her body, except on some days. Some days she felt like she would throw up just looking at herself in the mirror. But Rachel always told her that she must never show anybody what you didn't like about yourself. Sometimes she hated her chest, she hated how flat it was or how she'd never be able to have Brooklyn's smooth and flawless skin or the way she felt about her forehead being too big or how sometimes she felt insecure about her height. But she would never tell anybody this because it would make her look weak and it made people feel bad for her. There's nothing she hated more than when people looked at her like they felt sorry for her.
Her sarcasm and her over confidence was a defence mechanism, she knew that but the fear of people seeing the real her scared her more. Sometimes she wondered what it would feel like if she could just go back to the very beginning , the moment she was born, then maybe just maybe she could have fixed her self, her flawed, broken self. When she was little, kids would refuse to play with her cause she was too "bossy" or whatever the fuck those headless chickens would say about her. She always had leadership skills, she knew that, but when you plan your life so much and ensure you became the class monitor every single year, it gets extremely boring and mundane. Often she heard people saying that she was too much of a bitch or too opinionated but these comments were usually from males, and in the wise words of Brooke "there's nothing more scary to a misoyginist, than a woman who knows her worth". And she did know her worth.
And just like that she had gotten wraped up in her thoughts, and it was time to leave for the party. "Fuck" she cursed under her breath, as she scrunched up her hair. she didn't put on any makeup except some eyeliner, lip gloss and some mascara. She quickly slipped in her Fenty lip gloss into Brooke's clutch, cause she never left the house without a tube of lip gloss or a pair of shades on her. Basically something that would add to her look.
She put on her dress, it was essentially a simple red satin slip dress but the thing that made the dress truly breathtaking was the black sheer material on the dress. It was a long dress with a flattering slit that showed off her long, slim legs. Lastly she put on a pair of black Valentino heels, it was simple but it gave the dress a classy finish. Lastly she put on some perfume and she was ready to leave.
