Chapter 2

Taehyung gawked at the boy in front of him, different kinds of thoughts running around his head.

He thought his mate will be another bitch or maybe someone who has the same age as him. Well, he didn't really expect he'll get a baby mate. He studied the features of the boy and he admitted the boy is cute, very pretty also.

He also has to admit his heart did flutter for a millisecond when he saw the boy.

Maybe the boy realised Taehyung's intimating stare, he raised his head up, "A-Ahjussi, can I h-have your rings?" The boy asked, doe eyes getting wider.

"Ahjussi?!" Taehyung asked in disbelief, can't stop the urge to laugh, "I'm not a ahjussi, little boy."

The boy pouted, "B-But Jungkookie doesn't know what to call you..."

"Your name is Kookie?" Taehyung asked, lifting the boy up as he placed him on his lap. He was surprised by his own gesture. His body just move by him own as his body followed his heart.

Jungkook nodded his head, "I'm Kookie!" He smiled widely, hands raising up on the air.

"Is it the cookies we eat?" Taehyung asked, immediately earned a gasp from the boy.

"N-No no! C-Cookies is diffwerent from Kookie!" Jungkook waved his hand, shaking his head furiously.

"Oh really?" Taehyung smirked, "But you got the same name as the cookies!"

The little boy visibly panicked. He looks left and right, tears slowly formed in his eyes, "I-I'm not cookie... Y-You can't eat m-me..."

Taehyung almost laughed. He felt slightly proud as he successfully made a baby cry. He wanted to tease the boy further, and he did, "Maybe I can bake you then place you on my plate and eat you!"

The boy gasped loudly, tears streamed down from his eyes instantly, "K-Kookie i-ish not tasty! P-Pwease don't eat K-Kookie!"

Taehyung finally laughed out, genuinely. He ruffled the boy's hair, "Kookie is cute."

"K-Kookie..." The boy sniffled, stammering, "K-Kookie d-don't wan to be K-Kookie anymwore... K-Kookie ish not tasty..." He wailed louder, more tears trickled down from his cheeks.

And this time, Taehyung finally panicked.

"Wait! Don't cry please!" He desperately wipes off the boy's tears, heart clenched when he saw the boy cried harder.

The boy sobbed furiously, loud cries emitted from his mouth.

"Oh my goodness, I beg you to stop, kookie!" Taehyung begged, for the first time as he doesn't want to torture his ears with Jungkook's cries anymore.

Taehyung quickly removed the shiny ring on his finger and slipped it in the boy's chubby finger. The ring hanged loosely around Jungkook's finger, but still manage to shine brightly.

"See? You want my rings right?" Taehyung asked and finally, Jungkook stopped his cries for a while, sniffling and hiccuping.

He looked down at his fingers, then slowly raised his head up again. "K-Kookie wan a-ahjussi's crown..." He pointed his cute little finger at Taehyung's crown.

"Take it take it. I'll give everything to you." Taehyung took off his crown and placed it on Jungkook's head.

The crown obviously doesn't suit Jungkook's size as it constantly slipped down, but at least the boy was happy.

Previous tears disappeared like a whiff of air and the boy smiled widely, "P-Pretty!!"

"Yeah, pretty..." Taehyung whispered out, lips tilted up as it formed a whipped smile. His mate looks so beautiful right now.

He snapped himself out of his own mind, slapping himself internally. He groaned, "I'm already so whipped for my baby mate..."

He sighed, again focusing on the baby who's playing his ring.

Taehyung's eyes darkened a bit when he saw Jungkook's puckered lips. The thin but full lips of the boy were cherry red, saliva coated the surface of lips, shining time to time.

"A kiss won't hurt right? I'm kissing my mate, it's right and definitely not against the law." Taehyung muttered to himself, slowly leaning down, placing a kiss on Jungkook's lips.

The boy gasped out, backing away a little. "A-Ahjussi, you g-gave me a kissie!"

"Yeah, I gave you my rings and crown, in return I take a kissie from you, isn't it fair?" Taehyung said, smirking when he earned a hesitate nod from the boy.

"T-Then should K-Kookie give ahjussi more kissie?" Jungkook asked, tilting his head.

"If you want, of course you can." Taehyung stated.

Hearing the king's statement, Jungkook leaned closer to Taehyung, placing sloppy kisses on Taehyung's lips and cheeks.

Taehyung took this chance to wrap his arms around the baby's waist, inhaling Jungkook's scent greedily.

"Baby powder scent... An omega too..." Taehyung chuckled, "So cute..."

Jungkook tilted his head, staring Taehyung with his questioning gaze, "W-What did you said Ahjussi?"

"Nothing." Taehyung smiled, running his fingers through Jungkook's fluffy one.

"T-Then can K-Kookie leave now?"

"Sure. But before you leave, can you tell Ahjussi what is your parents name?" Taehyung asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Kookie don't have mowmmy or daddy..." Jungkook pouted, toying the ring around his finger.

"Don't have mommy or daddy? Then where do you live, pup?" Taehyung eagerly asked, grabbing Jungkook's thin wrist with his large hand.

"Kookie lives with other children in a big place!!" Jungkook exclaimed, wide bunny smile decorated on his face but soon his smile fall, "But Kookie don't remember what place it is..."

"I guess you live in the orphanage then..." Taehyung muttered, make sure it's not audible for the baby.

"Ahjussi, can kookie go now?" Jungkook asked, tilting his head in process.

Taehyung pursed his lips into a thin line, "Can Kookie stay with Ahjussi today?"

"B-But stranger danger!" Jungkook muttered with his lips puckered up, eyebrows met each other instantly.

Taehyung stifled a small laugh, "Seriously. After sitting on my lap for such a long period of time and you said stranger danger?"

Jungkook blinked his doe eyes, staring at the male questioningly as he doesn't understand what the king said.

Taehyung shook his head in defeat, "Ahjussi got more shiny rings in my bedroom. Do you want it?" He stated, trying to bribe the boy.

As expected, Jungkook's eyes lit up, "Yes! Kookie woves shing rings!!"

"Then stay with Ahjussi today?"

Jungkook nodded his head firmly, circling his short arms around Taehyung's waist, "Ahjussi is nice!!"

Taehyung smiled, patted Jungkook's back, "You haven't seen the real me, pup."
