Chapter 22

After feeding Jungkook the medicine, the boy again fell asleep. Taehyung caressed Jungkook's slight swollen lips and flushed cheeks, sighing out heavily.

Believe it or not, Taehyung did spend one hour to force the boy swallow the pill.

The king stood up from the bed, slowly stepping out of his room. Sparing last glances at the sleeping boy, Taehyung walked out.

"Your majesty."

"Woosung? Why are you here?" Taehyung asked, slightly shocked as normally at this time, Woosung always stay in his work place.

"Your father and mother have arrived. They're waiting in the throne room." Woosung said.

"Really?" Taehyung asked, slight happiness appeared in his eyes for a millisecond.

Ruthless king or not, Taehyung still love his family.

Seeing Woosung nodded his head, Taehyung said, "If Jungkook wakes up, take him to the throne room. And if he wants someone to carry him..." Taehyung thinks deeply and decided to put his possessive instinct aside, "You can carry him, no piggyback him. Nothing more than that, got it?"

"Yes, your majesty." Woosung replied respectfully.

"Good."

"Where's Taetae?" Jungkook asked Woosung. He's not in a good mood now. He doesn't like it when he woke up without Taehyung.

"His majesty went to meet his parents. He told me to take you to the throne room once you awake." Woosung said.

Jungkook pouted, getting down from the bed unwillingly.

"Do you need me to carry you, your highness?" Woosung asked, reaching his hands out and Jungkook quickly shook his head.

"I can walk by myself." Jungkook muttered, walking forward and almost stumbled as he felt dizzy time to time.

Woosung eyed the petite boy worriedly, "You really don't need me to carry you, your highness?"

"No. I only want Taetae to carry me." Jungkook mumbled with his lips puckered up, walking away without waiting Woosung.

Woosung sighed at the male's stubborn action. Right now, what he can do was watching the boy walk and catch him once he almost stumbled.

"I heard Yeonseo said you got yourself a mate and you're pretty whipped for him."

"Mom, don't tease me. Noona is exaggerating. I'm not that whipped." Taehyung scoffed, rolling his eyes.

"Ha! Says the one who changed the whole garden into roses garden just because Jungkookie said he loves Rosie." Yeonseo who sat beside Taehyung said.

"Wow, no wonder the sunflower I planted there disappeared!" Taehyung's mom, Seoyeon stated.

"Brat, don't tell me you removed my lovely trees too?!" Taehyung's dad, Jiseok quickly asked, feeling rather relief when Taehyung replied a no to him.

"I moved them to another place. Geez, don't be so dramatic will you?" Taehyung hissed, annoyance laced in his words.

"I can't wait to see my lovely son in law!" Seoyeon exclaimed and Taehyung just rolled his eyes at the sudden change of topic.

"He's sick now. Maybe later you can see him." Taehyung said.

"Is he cute?" Seoyeon asked, "Tell me Yeonseo. Is he innocent or sassy?"

"Innocent as hell." Yeonseo replied, "And he successfully made Yoongi smiled just because he hugged him."

"Oh my! Then he must be a huge cutie then!" Seoyeon said.

"I can't even remember the time when Yoongi smiled. Is it...ten years ago?" Jiseok asked his wife.

"More than that, honey." Seoyeon replied, "Oh I just can't wait to see him!!"

"Don't react so big later. I'm afraid you guys won't startle him. He's a bit shy." Taehyung finally could say something.

Usually in their family conversation, he got no chance to say anything because his parents and sister are too talkative.

"You don't need to worry about us. I'm good at handling my emotion and UwU machine-Oh my god!!! Are you my son in law?!"

Jungkook who just walked inside the throne room tilted his head confusingly, "S-Son in law?"

"Oh my goodness so cute-" "Mom, you said you won't react much." Taehyung stopped his mother who's about to hug the boy, "Baby, awake now?"

Jungkook nodded his head, making grabby hands towards Taehyung, "Huggy."

Taehyung cooed, swiftly pick up the boy in ease. "Pup, meet my parents, Kim Seoyeon and Kim Jiseok."
