Chapter 8

"What colour do you want for you hanbok, your highness?"

"Do you prefer rings or necklace your highness?"

"Can you remove your clothes so that we can let you wear another hanbok?"

Jungkook felt overwhelmed by questions that were thrown to him. He just got down from the carriage. After getting gretted by almost hundreds of servants, his mind was already a mess and right now he even need to handle these questions that given by maids.

"I-I... I don't want anything!!" Jungkook backed away, bum landed on the soft bed behind of him. Tears threatened to fall from his eyes as all he could felt right now was panic and oblivion.

"You need to choose one, your highness! Or else the king will kill us!!" One of the maid stated, and the other maids nodded their heads as well.

"K-Kill?!" This sudden information added more pressure to Jungkook's tangled mind and heart. His body basically trembled in fear, "W-Will he kills me too?"

The maids looked at each other, "W-We don't know, your highness..."

Jungkook shrieked, hiccuping cutely, "W-What should I do? I don't want to die..."

"You should decide which clothes you want and change it quickly, your highness. Your wedding will be held in this evening."

"This evening? W-Wedding?!" Again, Jungkook was so shocked about the sudden information he received.

"Yes. You'll get married with his majesty. Aren't you excited?" The maid asked.

Jungkook pursed his lips into a thin line, nodding his head even though he doesn't really like the idea of marrying Taehyung.

"Great! So which colour do you want for your hanbok, your highness?"

"You look so beautiful, your highness!!"

Jungkook stared at the mirror in front of him. Different kind of praises send directly to his ears but he got no time to analyze it. No just because he's worried and fear, he's also stunned.

He doesn't know what will happen once he married to Taehyung.

Will he kill me then eat me? Jungkook asked himself in his mind. Shaking his head a little, he tried to think positive.

"Can you stand up for a while, your highness? I need to adjust your clothes..."

Jungkook quickly stood up when he heard the maid's statement. While standing up, he again stumbled. Using the table for support, Jungkook accidentally pushed some perfume down, creating a mess on the table.

He gasped loudly, "I-I'm so sorry!!" He wanted to tidy up the perfume but his trembling hands won't let him do so.

"It's okay, your highness! We can clean them later. No worries!" The maid smiled widely, trying to make the petite male less panic.

"O-Oh okay..." Jungkook nodded his head, eyes still glossy. He let the maid adjust his clothes, mind completely empty.

"Hmm... Maybe we should add some jewelry to here..." The maid mumbled, adding necklace and different kinds of jewelry to Jungkook's hanbok.

Seeing how the jewelry shines, Jungkook's eyes lit up, gaze never leaving the shining object.

The maid who noticed it immediately asked, "You like this, your highness?"

"Yes... It's pretty!" Jungkook gasped out, small mouth parted, making him looks cuter.

"You can hold it first. I'll put it on your clothes later." Jungkook gladly accepted the object from the maid, inspecting it with his eyes sparkled like they hold the whole galaxy.

"Woah..." Jungkook again gasped out, moving the shining diamond in different angle to see how the diamond shines, a smile finally appeared on his face after such a long period of time.

"Your highness, we'll leave now. If you need anything, just call us." The maid bowed, along with others and Jungkook raised up his head, nodding it a little.

The maids walked out of the room, closing it softly.

"The queen is so cute!!!" One of them squealed and the others also squealed.

"He looks like a little baby when he's staring at the diamond!!"

The maids all sighed, "Just hope that the king will treat his highness well..."
