Chapter 14- Finals

Sam's POV

"Sam! Cammie! Did you see who that was!" Bex asked completely flustered.

"Dr. Steve," I mumbled.

"Girls keep track of how many men you see, I have eyeball on the target and the list so just count the guards."

When all of the girls and boys get to the roof Cam and I had already thought of a plan.

"Do you want me to throw them off the roof?" Bex asks us.

"No, unless they don't tell us what their school is and why one of their teachers want our alumni list!" I hiss sharply.

"You know what our school is," Grant defends.

"No we don't," I say shooting him a glare to shut him up.

"Look our school is the bad step-sibling of your school that no one wants to talk about," Blake says.

"What are yo-" I started to ask but Zach cut me off.

"I think we need to go, I've got a feeing of how Dr. Steve plans to leave," Zach says and then points to a blinking red dot and with my great hearing I could hear the whooshing of the helicopter blades.

"It's time to get into action then," I say and explained to them the plan.

Two minutes and 28 seconds later Bex is falling from the roof, no not because she fell, and landed flat on a guard knocking him out and dropping to the ground and swinging her leg out causing the other guard to tumble to the floor.

"They're here!" He shouts but it was too late because the sound of rappelling cord filled the air and it seemed to be raining Gallagher Girls.

I landed right in front of one man and used his surprise to punch him in the face causing him to be knocked out cold. Out of the corner of my eye I think I see Melody but I couldn't be sure so I kept focus, what would she even be doing here? I keep throwing punches and lashing out kicks but I was listening to everything around me, "Sam what can I do?" I heard Liz yell to me.

"Fight them!" I call out to her.

"I don't have a weapon," she yells back.

I spin around to fight off a man behind me and see Liz sitting in a bulldozer, "You're sitting in one!" I scream at her.

Liz face brightens and she starts find a way to get the thing started when a man caught the side of her shirt which made her topple down on him, knocking him out cold. A man was coming up from behind her and I was ready to run and get them when someone throws them self in front of her to take the punch, "Go!" Blake yells and starts fight with the man.

I look out towards Cammie and we both nod, we start sprinting towards the helicopter to see Dr. Steve running there as well -and if it's any tell by his face, he didn't think this was so 'excellent'- we started to run faster and the helicopter had landed so we knew if we didn't stop him now we never could.

Dr. Steve spun around to face us and he look confident but scared at the same time, "You girls will never get the list back! You can't sto-"

He was cut off by his windpipe being crushed and his face turned red, Bex had him tightly in a choke hold, and as someone who's been on the receiving end of that choke hold I can tell you he won't be speaking because just breathing is hard when in her grip.

"You're not going anywhere Dr. Steve," Cam and I say at the same time.

The doors of the helicopter open and Aunt Rachel and Mr. Solomon walked out, at that time I knew that something was either very right or very wrong.

"You're right girls he isn't, Rebecca please let Dr. Steve out of the choke hold," Aunt Rachel said but Bex didn't loosen her grip at all.

By now Dr. Steve's face was purple so Aunt Rachel again snapped for Bex to let him go so she dropped him, he fell to his knees and then onto his back gasping for air.

"What is going on?" Can asks but I was already coming up with an answer for that.

"Was that our Cov Ops finals?" I question and look at them.

Aunt Rachel grins slightly, "Yes it was and you all passed by not letting Dr. Steve go."

I looked over at Cam and we both seemed to understand at the same time.

"But what about the boys?" I ask.

"You girls are going to learn that later in your jobs you don't get to pick who you work with so we wanted you to get a feeling to work with someone you don't exactly trust but you needed them to get to the end of your mission, hopefully you all gained some allies during this semester," Mr. Solomon said.

Later that night -after we were all debriefed- we headed to our room completely drain of energy.

"The boys are leaving tomorrow," Bex told us.

"What about finals?" I question.

"They have to take finals at Blackthorne also," Bex whispered in her exhausted voice.

"Oh," Cam and I whispered and I looked to the ground.

When we finally got into our room we all took turns showering and brushing our teeth before passing out on our beds.

LIST OF THINGS THAT HAPPENED THE FOLLOWING DAY: (A List By- Samantha Shade and Cameron Morgan)

•Laundry. Because if running around in the dark on a dirty compound and fist fighting with men doesn't make your clothes dirty I don't know what does.
•Make-Up. It was the boys last day and all the girls wanted to look good for them.
•Amazing breakfast. I guess it was a goodbye from our chef to the boys.
•A pop quiz in COW. Just to show that things were back to normal.

It was right after dinner when I heard the guys were leaving. So Cam and I slipped down stairs to seem them leave just like everyone else.

"Sweetheart, I knew you would come," a deep voice told me from behind.

I spun around to see Blake standing there with his hands in his pockets, I look to the side and see Cam with Zach.

"When were you going to tell me you where leaving?" I question him and bite my lip.

"I was sure you would hear it from other people, and it seems that you did," he says looking me up and down.

I nod slightly and hear Dr. Steve call out that they needed to leave.

"Oh um, I guess you have to leave," I mumble.

"Yeah I do, oh and Sweetheart," he calls when I started to walk away. I spun around and see right behind me before he dips me and kisses me.

The kiss didn't last for as nearly as long as I wanted it to, his lips were soft and skilled -something I'm sure I didn't have- and he kissed me with so much want I thought I would explode.

He pulls away and stands back up straight, "Bye Sweetheart," and he starts to walk away.

"Are we ever going to see each other again?" I call out.

He spins around with a smirk on his face, "Try holding me back," he says and picks up his back before going to the van.

My eyes are wide and my mouth is slightly agape when I look over to Cam to see her in with the exactly same look on her face. She look over at me and we both nod our heads. We rush up to the room and explain what happened to us. The girls squeal in excitement after and Liz puts in what Blake said to me in the boy translator.

This is going to be an exciting summer break.

SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE, I WAS WRONG ON THE DATE AND WE LEFT TUESDAY NIGHT NOT WEDNESDAY DAY. SO THIS IS MAKE UP FOR IT. ALSO MELODY'S GROUP NEVER DID SHOW FOR A REASON ILL EXPLAIN IN THE NEXT CHAPTER/BOOK.
I think I'm gonna continue the third book into this one and let it all kinda slide together instead of making another one. Is this a good idea?
